Biography
The Only Way is Essex star Lydia was born and raised in Essex. Her mum is a foster carer and has taken care of more than two hundred children, so Lydia’s had a lot of brothers and sisters to look after too. She signed up for the BAFTA Award-winning reality show that made her name in 2010, and has gone on to become one of the show’s major stars.
Her stormy relationship with wedding singer James ‘Arg’ Argent has reeled viewers in, with the pair running hot and cold like a broken tap. Their latest split came in the second series when Arg was accused of playing away from home with Amy Childs. Lydia refused to take him back, but after some serious grovelling James announced via Twitter in July 2011 that the couple are back together again. Aww, bless, just in time for the third series...
Noted for her fashion savvy, Lydia’s also attracted attention for her wicked wardrobe and now writes her own fashion blog. The third series of TOWIE is due to start in September 2011 – and we can’t wait!
