Alongside pumping up his wrestling muscles, Mark loved music and began performing in school talent shows, singing in local bars despite being underage. At the Los Angeles Music Academy’s College of Music in Pasadena, California he began studying the guitar and gave guitar lessons to earn his living.
Moving into acting, he landed his first major acting role in the horror flick Children of the Corn IV alongside Naomi Watts 1996, but it went straight to DVD. His big break came in May 2009 when he bagged the role of sexy jock Noah ‘Puck’ Puckerman on the smash hit TV musical phenomenon that is Glee.
In addition to his TV work, Mark sings, writes, and produces his own music, and plays the piano, guitar, bass guitar, and drums. He released his debut solo album under the name Jericho in 2008, and released a jazz/rock album, Pipe Dreams, in 2010 through his own record label. Mark wrote, produced and played all the instruments on all of the album’s tracks.
