Biography
Mila was born in the Ukraine where she lived with her parents and older brother Michael. The family moved to the United States when Mila was just seven years old to give Mila and Michael a better start in life. Unable to speak English and enrolled straight into school, she embarked on what was to start out as a difficult early childhood.
Later she was enrolled in acting classes as an after school activity and was discovered by an agent – getting work from a young age in small television series and commercials, including Baywatch and Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves. Mila’s break came in 1998 when she auditioned for the role of Jackie Burkhart in US Sitcom, That 70’s Show. The producers discovered Mila was under age, she was just 14, but they kept her for the role anyway.
In 1999 she became the voice of Meg in the cult comedy Family Guy and was nominated for various awards for her voice over work.
In the noughties, Mila’s film career began to take off, with small roles in not so successful films such as Get Over It with Kirsten Dunst and alongside Jon Heder in Moving McAllister.
It was her role as Rachel Jansen in the 2008 hit Forgetting Sarah Marshall that finally got Mila acclaim. She went on to have major roles in films such as Extract, with Ben Affleck, starred alongside Natalie Portman in the Black Swan and was in Friends with Benefits with Justin Timberlake.
In 2012 she took the lead role in the hit comedy film Ted alongside her Max Payne co -star Mark Wahlberg. Mila is set to star as a witch in the Walt Disney Pictures prequel, Oz: The Great and Powerful in 2013.
Known for her smouldering good looks, the actress has received numerous awards celebrating her beauty, including - The Holy Grail of Hot and being awarded the accolade of being the second Most Desirable Woman in the World in 2011. She is pretty hot.
Mila started dating Macaulay Culkin in 2002 but they broke up in 2011. The pair remain good friends. In July 2012 she was linked romantically to Demi Moore’s ex beau, Ashton Kutcher.
