Biography
Nick Pickard had his movie debut in 1987, when he played the lead role of Mio in The Land of Faraway, along with Christian Bale and Christopher Lee.
He also appeared in Eastenders as a young homeless boy who Phil Mitchell burned to death. Kind man, that Phil.
After studying at the Sylvia Young Theatre School and Corona Theatre School, Nick Pickard worked extensively in the theatre in plays such as Richard II, An Enemy of the People and Edward II.
He has also featured in music videos for 80s superbands Mike and the Mechanics and Roxette. He has been playing the role of Tony Hutchinson since 1995, making him the longest-serving cast member.
At one point during Hollyoaks, he went out with co-star Joanna Taylor. He has a daughter called Ellie Pickard.
