Biography:
Hunky man mountain Rick is more than just a pretty face to gawp at hungover on a Saturday morning. He’s a mathematical genius! Well, he studied mathematics at the University of Cambridge for a year, before switching to Natural Sciences.
While at uni he started doing stand up and sketch shows, and auditioned for a job on T4 but was beaten to it by Vernon Kay. He tried a spot of modelling but hated it. Landing a job doing audience warm ups for a Ruby Wax daytime show, she recommended he try the graduate scheme at Princess Productions.
From there he landed a job at Channel 4, presenting T4 from 2005 until July 2011, as well as his own Saturday night radio show on XFM, which he presented until January 2009. Rick also hosts E4 Music, Relentless and the weekday morning music show Freshly Squeezed.
