Sarah Nicole Hardman Quotes
I’m not bitchy, but if someone bites at me first, I’ll bite back
Biography:
Perennial lads mag favourite and the lairy one out of Girls Aloud, Sarah was born in the south but raised in the north in Stockport. Her dad was a musician and introduced her to the recording studio at a young age but the two are now estranged.
In 2002 Sarah auditioned for Popstars: The Rivals and Fame Academy, pulling out of Fame Academy after being accepted in the Popstars first round. She was teamed up according to a public vote with Cheryl, Nadine, Nicola and Kimberley to form the best girlband since the Spice Girls, Girls Aloud.
With the band, Sarah’s notched up 20 consecutive top ten singles, four number-one singles, two number-one albums, and five BRIT Award nominations. Following their dizzying success, the band announced they’d take a break in 2009 to pursue solo interests.
Since then Sarah’s launched a new nightclub called Kanaloa, announced a solo album that never materialised, and become the face (and body) of Ultimo lingerie. Branching out into acting, she followed up her Girls Aloud cameo in 2007’s St. Trinian’s with a starring role of her own in the sequel. She’s also ditched her trademark peroxide locks, going goth, and getting a bit addicted to lip filler in the process. A Girls Aloud reunion tour is planned for 2012 too.
Sarah’s had plenty of attention from the lads, dating Kian out of Westlife, sleazeball Calum Best, Hollywood hunk Stephen Dorff, and Alex Zane, before getting engaged to DJ boyfriend Tom Crane in January 2011.
