Biography
Born in Kensington, West London, Harry Potter’s arch-nemesis now lives in the Surrey countryside with his family. Tom has four siblings and has been a keen fisherman since his childhood, as well as singing in four choirs while he was growing up.
He began acting at an early age, starting out in commercials. He landed several major contracts, including adverts for Barclaycard and Commercial Union in America. Next came voiceover work for British TV series Bugs, and then movies beckoned. He landed a starring role, his first film role, in The Borrowers in 1997 at the age of 10. By the time he was 12 he’d also starred in Second Sight with Clive Owen and Anna and the King with Jodie Foster.
Then along came J. K. Rowling. Tom would spend the next ten years of his life playing the nasty Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series, forbidden from getting a tan but getting absolutely filthy rich in the process.
Lately he’s been dabbling in music, releasing an album called In Good Hands and posting music videos on YouTube under the name Feltbeats. He also has five films in various stages of production on the go, including the Hollywood blockbuster The Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which looks set to be big news. Harry Potter may be over but Tom is still very much in demand.
