Biography
This isn’t the first time Vince has turned up on a talent show – he made it to the finals of The X Factor in 2007 when he was in boy band Futureproof, which was made up of previously rejected solo artists – just like our lovely boys, One Direction.
But five years later, Vince’s voice has matured and he doesn’t need four other guys around him to make it work. With a list of influencers including Lady Gaga, Prince, Lauren Hill and Boy George, it’s no wonder Vince has got such a distinctive sound – and look to match.
With all four judges turning around for Vince’s unique take on Madonna’s hit Like a Virgin in his blind audition, there’s no denying he left quite an impression on the panel of mentors.
He made the decision to join Team Jessie, but found it hard when he was put up against his best friend on the show, Jessica Hammond. The pair sang We Found Love by Rihanna and after some tricky decision making, Jessie chose Vince as the one to take through to the live shows.
Vince eventually calm fourth on the show but signed a record deal shortly after leaving the show. His album to scheduled to be released in 2013.
