Biography:
The Hills star Whitney was born in LA and her dad owns a fashion company. She graduated from the University of Southern California in 2007 with a degree in gender studies. Nope, we didn’t know you could do a degree in that either.
Whitney interned at W magazine before landing an internship at Teen Vogue in 2005 alongside Laguna Beach star Lauren Conrad. She was asked to join the Laguna Beach spin-off and international TV phenomenon that is The Hills in 2006.
Whitney said yes and we then got to see her fall down some stairs in Hilary Swank’s Oscars dress, which was brilliant. Interning for Vogue in Paris for the summer of 2006 she moved on to fashion PR house People’s Revolution in 2007, with Lauren following close behind.
In 2008, Whitney was given her own spin-off show, The City, when she moved to New York to work at Diane von Furstenberg. It didn’t go so well and she was back at People’s Revolution the following year. The show didn’t go so well either and it was cancelled after two seasons.
Whitney’s since become an in-demand model, launched her Whitney Eve clothing line in 2008, and published ‘True Whit: Designing a Life of Style, Beauty, and Fun’ in 2011.
As for boys, Whitney got together with hot model musician Jay Lyon in 2008, mercilessly dumping him in front of the cameras on her show The City. She then dated actor Ben Nemtin, but the couple split in June 2011.
