Jen splits with her Essex boy
Jennifer Aniston and her brickie boyfriend, Paul Sculfor, have gone their separate ways – after weeks of not seeing one another. The relationship, which began in May after a number of secret dates, is thought to have fizzled out because of Paul's demanding work schedule – he is now a  model. A source said, "There was chemistry, but the truth is that Jen wants to settle down with a reliable man and start a family."

Bob blamed for crash
The motorcyclist involved in a collision with Sir Bob Geldof has today blamed the former Boom Town Rat for the accident. The smash, which happened on the King's Road in London, has left biker Andrew with with a broken leg and splintered knee and doctors have told the 39 year-old that he could suffer long-term problems as a result. "I was riding carefully when suddenly this car appeared in front of me," says Andrew, "There was no way I could stop." Sir Bob was adamant that the collision was nobody's fault, saying "It was just an accident."

Ron Weasley: "I want to play a serial killer"
Rupert Grint, who plays Harry's best mate Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films, says he wants to play the part of a psychotic serial killer. The actor is hoping that when the Potter movies come to an end he will take a part which is completely different, saying; "I'd like to do a love story role or play a psychotic killer, anything different."

Tom Cruise blackmailer arrested
A man allegedly trying to blackmail Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise has been arrested by the FBI. Police say David Schmidt has been arrested for demanding money for photographs taken at Tom's wedding to Katie Holmes last year. Cruise's lawyer Bert Fields confirmed photographs of his client's November wedding had been stolen.

Amy turns up for a gig at last
