Lohan: "Coke wasn't mine"
Lindsay Lohan has denied that the cocaine found in her jeans pockets was hers. The ginger troubled actress was arrested earlier this week, but in a bizarre web rant yesterday she claimed the wrap of coke that police reported to have found, wasn't actually hers. She said; " I am innocent... I did not do drugs. They're not mine... I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin's mom." No, we don't understand what the last bit has got to do with the price of fish either. Lindsay, who already faces charges for drink-driving after running away from a car crash two months ago, now faces substantial time behind bars for her latest antics.
Mel B says Eddie Murphy's house was unfit for children
Mel B has lashed out at Eddie Murphy – the father of her second child, Angel Iris. In a recent interview, the singer says that she didn't want her children growing up in an environment that she claims was the "dark side" of living with the actor. Mel B, who reveals that Eddie has never seen his baby, added; "There were certain things that went on in his house and with his lifestyle that I wasn't prepared to be part of." She added; "I now have a house where it's about my kids and me. I don't have people knocking on my door at three and four in the morning." Whatever could she be on about?!
Sharon Osbourne too upset to attend dad's funeral
Sharon Osbourne was too traumatised to attend her father, Don Ardens, funeral yesterday. The X Factor judge, who made no secret of her fathers violent outbursts and bullying, was estranged from him for 23 years – before finally reconciling in 2002. Sharon flew to London with his body from LA, but yesterday was too upset to actually attend his burial – which was held in Manchester.
Sir Bob in car crash
Sir Bob Geldof was “very shaken” last night after a motorcyclist collided with his car in London. The scruffy-haired campaigner was on his way home from watching The Simpsons Movie with daughters Pixie and Tiger Lily on the King's Road, when he did a U-turn and a motorbike collided with his silver Lexus. Bob said, “It was an accident. He came up on my blind side.” After the collision, Sir Bob stayed with the injured biker until the ambulance arrived. He was taken to hospital with knee and groin injuries. Ouch.
Vernon gets his own chat show! Oh, and £2million.
Chirpy TV personality Vernon Kay is getting ready to sign a £2million deal with ITV1 to host a new chat show. The lanky star, who successfully presents Gameshow Marathon and Family Fortunes, is being lined up to rival Paul O’Grady’s 5pm chat show on Channel 4. ITV are keen to grow the Bolton boy into one of their leading entertainment faces.
