Ooh, how embarrassing. Sarah Harding fled to a toilet in tears at Sunday's V Festival after cruel Kate Moss had her thrown out of the VIP area. Ouch! The supermodel was furious that Sarah and her mates were sat at "her" table in the backstage area, and promptly got them all chucked out. What a knob.

Speaking of how charming Kate Moss is, her ex Pete Doherty has found himself in trouble again – just hours after heroically helping the victim of a motorway accident. The short-lived hero, who stopped to help a man escape his car on the way to V Festival, was arrested in the early hours after his Jaguar mounted a pavement in east London. The singer allegedly pleaded with police as he was dragged from his vehicle, but he was still taken into custody on suspicion of possessing drugs. The troubled singer was warned at his last court appearance that he would face jail if he could not stay away from drugs. Oops.

Mel B has spoken out for the first time to defend her new husband after it was revealed that he had acted violently towards a previous partner. The Spice Girl, who wed film producer Stephen Belafonte in June following a whirlwind romance, admitted that revelations about her man had upset her, saying, “For him to be seen as a wife beater is devastating for me because he’s not – he never has been.” Belafonte lashed out at his former partner during a drunken argument in 2003 and was ordered to attend at domestic violence programme.
