Pete hid drugs in Sadie's handbag
It's well known in Primrose Hill circles that Sadie Frost has never been keen on best mate Kate's ex Pete Doherty – and now it's emerged why: junkie Pete smuggled crack into her handbag during a holiday. It happened back in June 2005, when Sadie, Kate and Pete stayed on a boat cruising round the Mediterranean coast owned by the father of their pal Davinia Tayor. Kate’s daughter Lila and Sadie’s son Finlay were also on the trip, so it’s fair to say Sadie was livid when she found out much later and insisted Pete was thrown off the boat. “Sadie was beyond livid,” a source said. “She was so furious she burst into tears and was screaming and shouting.” Sadly Pete wasn't made to walk the plank.
Amy's going to be on the cover of Vogue!
Wow! Amy Winehouse’s bid for global domination is almost complete. The star is now set to grace the cover of American Vogue this September. Editor Anna Wintour is smitten with the singer after hearing her smash hit album Back To Black and has demanded staff get her for the cover. An insider at the fashion bible says: “An order from Anna Wintour is like a royal command and the order was to get Amy.” The shoot has already been done in Miami by famous snapper Bruce Webber. We’re biting our toenails in anticipation…
The Beckhams piss off new neighbour Heidi Klum
Everybody needs good neighbours, but it seems the Beckhams have already pissed off their new ones in LA. They’ve only been living there for a matter of days, but it seems their neighbour Heidi Klum is far from happy with the pack of paparazzi they’ve attracted on their doorstep. The model has said in a TV interview that the continual round of photographers outside their Beverly Hills neighbourhood were “a pain.” Oh dear. Looks like Posh won’t be invited round to Heidi and Seal’s for cuppa in the near future…
X Factor movie will be called Star Struck
Simon Cowell has revealed that a movie about The X Factor is going ahead – and that it will be called Star Struck. The movie will centre around around the lives of ten contestants on a singing reality TV show. Simon, who will produce the Hollywood film, said of the project: "We want it to be the musical version of Rocky – an underdog story, a feel-good film.” Due to be released next summer, we just pray Chico won’t be making an appearance.
