Coogan blamed for Owen's troubles
Alan Patridge star Steve Coogan insisted yesterday that he was not to blame for triggering Owen Wilson's suicide attempt. The British comedy star, 41, was accused by former lover Courtney Love of pushing Owen over the edge by introducing him to a hard-partying lifestyle since befriending him on the set of Night At The Museum. Love, 43, told a US magazine: "I tried to warn Owen and his friends [about him]." But Coogan's spokesman hit back however, saying "These accusations are unfounded, unhelpful and hurtful to all concerned. We're taking legal advice." heatworld isn't exactly on best terms with our ex boyfriend, but we are very relieved he isn't Courtney Love.
Jesse’s awful tattoo of Nadine
The former Desperate Housewives star and former hunk (heatworld's moved on now), who's now back with on/off/in/out girlfriend Nadine Coyle, had a majorly bad tattoo penned on his bicep during one of their "off" moments. There’s no denying the naked woman etched on his arm is the Girls Aloud star lassoing a human heart (which we're almost 100 per cent certain Nadine wouldn't do in real life). Asked if he was broken-hearted at the time, he said, “Yes!” Jesse then proudly declared he came up with the dodgy design himself: “I had the idea of a female angel lassoing a human heart to my heart.” Oh my God, how can someone so hot be such a complete and utter moron?
Myleen nabs Charlotte's baby name
Charlotte Church wanted to call her baby Ava – but Myleene Klass pipped her to the post. The stars were due to give birth at the same time, but then two weeks ago, the I’m A Celebrity star gave birth to baby Ava nearly a month early. Charlotte and Gavin may call the baby Lucius if it’s a boy (heatworld strangely likes that name) – but if it’s a girl, it’s back to square one with coming up with a name. “They are struggling to find a girl’s name,” a pal says. “She’s gutted Myleene got there first.”
Dawn ditched from TV ads
Dawn French has been dropped as the face of Terry's Chocolate Orange after 10 years. Rumours suggest that the comedienne's, ahem, chocolate-loving size is the reason behind the axing. Trade journal Marketing said: "Insiders have speculated that French was no longer presenting the right image for the company in the current climate of concerns over obesity and health." Terry's deny such claims however, saying it was simply "time to move on" from old ads. Looks like Dawn will be having a Chocolate Orange-free Christmas this year then. Poor love.
