Another day, another sad Amy Winehouse update. She and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil have now checked into a rehab facility in the US after admitting that they’re addicted to heroin and cocaine. The couple are receiving intensive counselling and detox treatment at the clinic, where they’re sharing a bedroom, but will have no contact with the outside world. They decided to take action after seeing that their problems with drink and drugs were tearing their families apart. “They are both as bad as each other,” says a family source. “But at least they have admitted they have got a problem and are taking action to help each other.”
Third time lucky for DJ Chris
Twice-married Chris Evans wed his professional golfer girlfriend Natasha Shishmanian yesterday, choosing a low-key register office service in Guildford, Surrey. The ginger-haired DJs nuptials were in stark contrast to his Vegas wedding to Billie Piper six years ago. An onlooker said: “He looked happy, but clearly wanted it private.”
Richard Branson in water fight
Virgin tycoon Richard Branson threw a glass of water over a US TV host after being banned from plugging his new airline. Branson was appearing on The Colbert Report – which was being recorded in front of a live studio audience – to chat about his new low-cost service between New York and LA. Programme host Stephen Colbert retaliated by throwing a bottle of water over Branson. Funnily enough, the interview was scrapped with Branson’s spokesperson confirming: “Richard did throw his water over Stephen. As most people know, Richard can be unpredictable.” The show will be re-recorded later this week.
Wayne’s cousin – “Coleen’s got saggy boobs”
Remember Wayne Rooney’s oh-so classy cousin Natalie? Y’know, the 18-year-old who flashed her boobs at Coleen’s 21st birthday party?
