Lily is banned from the US
Blimey. Lily Allen has had her US visa cancelled after being held at a US airport, locked in a cell and even strip-searched. The star was challenged by custom and immigration officers at LA International Airport on Sunday. She was quizzed by officers about her arrest in the UK back in March after an alleged fight with a snapper. Lily, who was in the States to film a music video with Kanye West and appear at the MTV Video Music Awards, was eventually released after five hours, but her visa has now been revoked, which means that once she leaves America she may not be allowed back in the country for her US tour in September. “I am trying everything I can to sort this out. I don’t like letting my fans down,” she says. We’ll give you more news when we have it.
Lindsay back in rehab *Groan*
Lindsay Lohan has checked into rehab for the THIRD time, according to US reports. The troubled party girl has not been spotted since her dramatic arrest two weeks ago for drink driving and possessing cocaine. The actress is now said to be in the residing in the Cirque Lodge drug and alcohol treatment centre in Sundance, Utah. “It would be counter-productive to her treatment to reveal where she is,” says her spokesman. Let’s hope she sorts herself out this time because it sure-as-shit wasn't much flaming use last time...
Kerry takes husband back... *Groan x2*
After kicking husband Mark Croft out of the house on Sunday, following allegations of cheating, Kerry Katona has decided to take him back… on the condition he takes a lie-detector test. Mark has denied reports that he had two affairs and so this is the ultimate test in order to set Kerry's mind at rest. Cheating? Lie detectors? EastEnders Steve badly beaten up
Oh dear. EastEnders star Steve McFadden looked so bruised and battered after a real-life punch-up that he was sent home from work on the show. Bosses on the BBC soap wouldn’t let him work when he turned up to the set after a fight with a drinker in the British Legion (ooh, classy!) in Falmouth, Cornwall. Producers had to hurriedly write his character Phil Mitchell out of scenes and stalled filming, at the cost of thousands of pounds, until swelling and bruising went down. For those of you worried about the hard man, heatworld can report that Steve was back at work yesterday. A case of life imitating art...
Kate writes song for Pete's album
Kate Moss and Pete Doherty may have split, but their union lives on – in the music world, at least. After a string of on-stage performances with Pete and the band and some extremely odd clips on YouTube, Kate has taken her burgeoning music career one step further and penned a song for the much-hyped new Babyshambles album. Written when they were still dating, while snuggled up in bed, the as yet unnamed song is said to be a strong contender for Number One, so at least something positive has come from their grubby turbulent union...
