Britney's backstage meltdown
Another day and another Britney Spears story dominating the headlines – this time over a shit-fit she threw at her hairdresser just minutes before her VMA car crash. The star had to be given anti-depressants by her doctor backstage after she hit the roof about her new hairdo. Well, there is only so much you can do with a weave, Brits. A backstage source said, "The scene in the dressing room before the show was one of absolute blind panic. She knew she hadn't rehearsed enough and was going to mess the whole show and possibly her career – then she saw her hair and it was the final straw. She went into a wild rage and started lashing out at everyone – including her stylist." Britney's doctor was quickly drafted in and prescribed her with prescription drugs – calming her down. Well, that would go someway to explaining her dazed performance...
J-Lo might be pregnant. Again.
J-Lo has been rumoured to be pregnant more times than we've had hot dinners, so we're never too surprised when it turns out that all she's expecting is a food baby. But when J-Lo hit the catwalk at New York Fashion Week yesterday she was sporting what looked suspiciously like a baby bump. The Lo has never made any secret of wanting a family and now that she's settled with husband Marc Anthony the pitter patter of tiny feet wouldn't be out of the question. And if she's not got a bun in the oven, we have one question – why on earth would you have a massive meal right before walking down the catwalk with the world's media waiting to photograph you? Maybe she's just a bit simple...
Hip operation for baby Zahara
Brangelina’s daughter Zahara needs a hip operation, it emerged today. The two-year-old Ethiopian-born girl, who was first adopted by Angelina Jolie in July 2005, has a condition called hip dysplasia which means her hip and thigh are not properly connected. She may need an operation to correct the problem and could require braces to help re-set the limbs. Parents Brad and Ange have said they “will do whatever it takes to ensure Zahara is healthy and happy.”

She may be struggling in her personal life, but Amy Winehouse continues to be applauded for her work. The troubled singer has received a Q Award nomination for her phenomenally successful Back To Black album. Other artists up for gongs at the 8 October event include the Kaiser Chiefs for Best Album, Best Video and Best Track and Lily Allen's Alfie for Best Video, while Muse, the Arctic Monkeys and The Killers are all up for the prestigious Best Act In The World Today award.
