Sugababe boyfriend cleared of rape
Sugababe Amelle Berrabah's boyfriend has been cleared of any involvement in a sex attack on her younger sister, Samiya. Freddie Fuller was questioned last Sunday for the last time and was released without charge allowing the couple to move forward. On hearing the good news Amelle said; "I'm thrilled, there have been a lot of lies made up about that and he needs an apology. His name should not have been mentioned in that context. We are very happy together." Amelle and Freddie briefly split when he was arrested along with three other men for an alleged involvement in raping Samiya, 20. The police yesterday said; "The case never went to court and due to lack of evidence no charges have been made."
Renee: "I have a crush on Paul McCartney"
The unlucky-in-love actress has admitted she DOES fancy Sir Paul McCartney. The Bridget Jones' star, who in the last week has been spotted cosying up to Macca at a concert and sharing an intimate dinner, said: "I do have a big crush on Paul McCartney. I feel quite embarrassed saying it because I haven't even told him yet." 38-year-old Renee added, "I've told my friends and I think they might have told him. Well I guess if he doesn't know he will find out now." What will Heather Mills think? We're scared already.
Posh is bad for Becks' career
Football legend Sir Bobby Charlton has sensationally revealed that David Beckham's celebrity lifestyle with Posh has hindered his football career. The former England and Man U great said, "I think Victoria's lifestyle affected his game. He was a really great footballer and had a terrific talent. His lifestyle has gone in a different direction." Ouch. But to be fair Bobby, he does look a lot prettier now.
Brian lands Shakespeare job
It looks as though Brian's recital of Shakespeare on heatworld has won him a new job! The BB winner, who had never heard of Shakespeare, has been asked to read two-minute versions of classics such as Romeo And Juliet, which will be downloadable from the net – in the hope that it will encourage younger children to read more highbrow books! Spokesperson David Kohn for book store Borders said; "Getting him on board could be the perfect way to get a new generation into Shakespeare."
