Could the Sugababes be heading for their fourth line-up in six years? Rumour has it founding member Keisha and second-generation star Heidi are looking for a new member following a series of blazing rows with Amelle. It’s even thought that secret auditions were held on Sunday in a bid to find a potential new member. Ooh!
Yikes! Paris wants kids next year!
Paris Hilton has revealed that she’s planning to follow in the footsteps of best pal Nicole Richie and have a baby. The 26-year-old says she’s preparing herself for children. “I want kids next year, so I’ve got to get my body ready,” she twitters. Erm, hadn’t you better find a suitable father for your offspring first, lady?
Corrie cleans up at TV awards
Coronation Street nabbed four gongs at a TV awards ceremony last night, while EastEnders could only manage a disappointing one. The Manchester soap walked away with Best Newcomer in the form of Kym Ryder (we like the way she's still a newcomer at the age of 78), Best Actress went to Sue Cleaver (who heatworld hearts with all its, er, heart), Best Storyline was picked up by Kate Ford (who we used to have a little lesbian crush on) and then finally Corrie bagged the big award of the night, Best Soap, at the TV Quick Awards in London. Come on, 'Enders, put up a bit of a fight, we know you're hard enough.
Amy boycott plan backfire!
Despite calls from Blake's parents to boycott her music, troubled star Amy Winehouse is selling more records than ever. In July, Winebox sold 88,273 albums, but by the end of August – and following her widely publicised drugs meltdown – she’d shifted a rather impressive 102, 084. A music industry expert said, “We often see that any kind of scandal surrounding an artist will send sales sky high.”
