Pete's out of rehab
Grubby Pete Doherty has checked out of rehab. The singer, who has been endlessly arrested for drug and car offences, was holed up in Clouds clinic in Wiltshire for six weeks (bloody nora – doesn't time fly?) but has been released after providing tests proving he is finally clean from booze, heroin and crack. Pete is now estranged from ex-girlfriend Kate Moss so will stay at an address outside London. Let's just hope he doesn't fall off the wagon amidst celebrations for his bands ( Babyshambles) album Shotter's Nation which is expected to go in at number three this weekend. Seriously, Petey – stick with it this time!
The Spice Girls are scrapping already
The Spice Girls haven't even kicked off their tour yet – but already their fake acrylic nails are out and scratching each others eyes out! Mel C and Geri Halliwell have already had words over which songs will make their Greatest Hits album. It will include two new tracks, one written by Mel C who wants it to be one of the two new songs they release, but Geri has rejected the idea and now the pair are scrapping. Come on, you're not girls anymore and that's not very ladylike behaviour!
Lily actually says something NICE about Britney
Lily Allen has shocked the showbiz world (well, heatworld, at any rate) by actually saying something nice about a fellow celebrity. The 22-year-old, who's former tongue-lashing victims include Cheryl Cole and Madonna, has spoken out about her sympathy for troubled starlet, Britney. Speaking from a fashion show in Paris, Lily said, “My heart goes out to her. I can’t even imagine what it must be like for her. People must follow her wherever she goes." Blimey, Lily, who’s been waving the happy wand near you?

They may be one of the most famous man-bands in the world right now, but not every member of Take That is comfortable being the centre of attention. Howard Donald has admitted that the idea of going solo “terrifies” him, and that he could never do what former bandmate Robbie Williams does. “I could never do what Rob has done and get up there on stage by myself,” he said. The scruffy-haired hottie blamed his shyness as the reason he never embarked on a solo career, adding, “I’m a bit shy. I never wanted to be up there in the lights on my own.” All together now, awwwww.
