Lourdes to star in Harry Potter!
We wish we had a famous parent. Madonna’s daughter Lourdes has been offered a part in the next Harry Potter movie. It would appear that the 11-year-old, who looks scarily like Madonna did at the same age, has taken after her mum in the talent stakes. She is said to be thrilled at the prospect of appearing in the magical movie, and although it will just be a small part, it could be her big break. Lourdes, nicknamed Lola, has grown up in the glare of publicity so we doubt she’ll by phased by a few cameras. Wonder if it will be a singing part…

With all the current upset and trauma going on in her life, we were glad when we heard that Amy Winehouse has a new best friend. Well, we were glad until we discovered it was Pete Doherty. The filthy-fingernailed rocker admitted that he and Amy speak almost every day, and are helping each other to battle drugs. Pete told reporters that Amy has been clean since her husband Blake was banged up, saying, “I speak to Amy almost every day. She just wants her man back for Christmas. They are desperately in love. Amy stopped doing everything since he [Blake] went in.” The Babyshambles singer then went on to say, bizarrely, “Love, music and melody is the way forward.” Blimey! Did he fall asleep and wake up in the 70s? What do you think? Will having Pete on the end of the phone really help Amy, or do two wrongs just never make a right?

Preston and Chantelle divorce final TODAY
The Celebrity Big Brother lovebirds will officially divorce today after just 16 months of marriage. Chantelle actually reckons she realised it was a big mistake marrying some guy she'd met on a Reality TV show, just 4 days into their honeymoon, while Preston has always looked faintly surprised and bemused by the whole affair (and life in general). He now appears to be back with his old girlfriend, Camille Aznar. Very generously, the much higher-earning Chantelle has agreed to a 50/50 split of their assets, which include the £25,000 BB prize that their touching romance originally helped her to win.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers' mum dies
heatworld is gutted to report that Jonathan Rhys Meyers' mum, Geraldine, died in hospital in the early hours of yesterday morning. The Tudors' star was apparently devoted to his mother, who brought him up on her own after he was born prematurely and out of wedlock. The troubled actor’s had a terrible week, being turned away from boarding a plane because of drunkeness just days ago. Big kiss Jonny.
