It's the news!
Amy's shambolic gig
Amy Winehouse did turn up for her Birmingham gig last night, but things didn't quite go according to plan. Fans booed and walked out of the concert after she appeared drunk and turned the show into a tribute to her husband Blake, who is still behind bars. The troubled singer changed words in her songs to incorporate his name and at one point even turned on her baying crowd saying, "Let me tell you something. First of all, if you're booing you're a mug for buying a ticket. Second, to all people booing – just wait till my husband gets out." At one point Amy had to be supported by her band as she collapsed in tears and for the finale she stopped short of finishing Valerie, dropping the microphone and storming off stage. Eek.
Pete back on drugs. Shocker
Pete Doherty has been caught taking drugs, again. Yawn. Double yawn. The grubby singer was snapped snorting cocaine allegedly just days after issuing a statement claiming he was going to sort himself out and check back into rehab. In the snaps, Pete chops out five lines of cocaine and proceeds to snort them through a rolled up piece of paper – proving that he has a long way to go in his addiction battle.
Will Angelina have to give Zahara back?
The mother of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's adopted daughter Zahara announced that she wants her little girl back. Mentewab Dawit Lebiso alleges that Ethiopian officials lied to Angelina, saying that she had died and that two-year-old Zahara was an AIDS orphan. "I want her home," said Mentewab. However, the adoption agency said Brangelina acted completely legally as Zahara's grandmother signed the legal papers stating that Zahara's mum was dead.
X Factor and Strictly fight over Kylie
X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing bosses are currently battling it out to get Kylie Minogue to perform on their shows first. Kylie – who's little sister Dannii is a judge on the show – agreed to do the X Factor final on 15 December, but producers were left fuming after they discovered the pop star was due to perform on rival show Strictly on 1 December. A source claims X Factor bosses told Kylie that she either "appears on 24 November now or not at all." Her publicist admitted, "We are in discussions with both shows." Calm down, dears, it's only Saturday night telly.
