Will splits with boyfriend
Will Young is single again after splitting with his long-term love Conor. The pair, who have been dating on and off for two years, finished the relationship two weeks ago. But instead of sitting around listening to Lonely This Christmas, Will says he’s not planning on staying on his own for too long, revealing that he’s on the look out for love this festive season. The singer, who was partying at uber-trendy night spot Bungalow 8 said: “Conor and I are sadly not together any more. So I’m single and ready to have fun.” Will Young. Single? *Puts sock down trousers. Squirts on aftershave. Books cab to Bungalow 8.*
Rhydian is a virgin
Sorry if this comes across a bit like a 14-year-old boy, but RHYDIAN’S A VIRGIN! RHYDIAN’S A VIRGIN! The X Factor favourite has revealed that he doesn’t believe in sex before marriage. There’s been lots of speculation over his sexuality since appearing on the talent show, but the 24-year-old finally put rumours to rest by saying, “If people are assuming that I am gay, or whatever, that is fine. They don’t know me and I dress quite camp. But I can say categorically that I am 100 per cent straight.” However, the Christian singer admits that his religious beliefs mean that he won’t be having sex until after marriage. “I have been offered sex, like most men,” says Rhyd, “but if you believe in something, you can’t compromise. But I am only human and you can fall short. At the moment my priority is singing.” Very commendable, Rhyd, but just remember Britney once said the same thing and look at her now… eek.
Kerry making her own perfume!
Blonde bombsite and entrepreneur, Kerry Katona, has arrived in an unsuspecting France to work on her latest project – her own perfume range. The mangy Atomic Kitten has decided that this is the best way to get her and her family out of thousands of pounds of debt. She is obviously hoping to snort the sweet scents of success and follow in the footsteps of other celebrities such as Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty with their own perfume lines. We can only imagine what she is going for… subtle top notes of frozen pizza and rich, intoxicating bass notes of fish fingers with a mysterious hint of lager, perhaps?

It won Best New Television Comedy and its writer and star Ruth Jones took home Best Female Comedy Newcomer, while co-star James Corden won Best Male Comedy Newcomer. Peep Show won Best Television Comedy and its star, David Mitchell, beat Jack Dee For Best Television Comedy Actor. Rather surprisingly, Borat lost out to The Simpsons Movie for Best Comedy Film and Simon Amstell was named Best Comedy Entertainment Personality for Never Mind The Buzzcocks, which also won Best Comedy Entertainment Programme.
