Cheryl and Ashley take "a break" in their marriage;
Cheryl Cole has left her cheating husband Ashley for a "break" in their marriage. The devastated singer has left the marital home and is hiding out in a secret location, but her agent claims: "They are definitely still together. There is obviously lots of stuff going on at the moment and Cheryl has gone away for a break to clear her head for a few days." Cheryl was rocked by allegations of her husband's infidelity at the end of last week and has vowed to stand by him, but as more girls have come forward to talk about their nights of passion with the Chelsea footballer, it appears the stories are taking their toll on the Girls Aloud star. Yesterday, Cheryl broke down in tears while at a shoot for the band's new video Can't Speak French and looked incredibly upset as she left.
Jeremy Edwards arrested in coke bust
Actor Jeremy Edwards has been arrested while on holiday in Barbados after being caught with cocaine in an area known for drug dealers. The TV star spent the weekend in a prison cell and then appeared in front of a judge in the capital of Bridgetown on Monday. Jeremy, 36, was fined £250 and released with a warning that he will go to jail if caught with drugs again. A police spokesman said: “Edwards was arrested after acting suspiciously on the street and was found with an amount of cocaine, but officers believed it was for personal use. He has been allowed to continue his holiday.”
Kylie tells Britney “Get help!”
Kylie Minogue is the latest celeb to have her say on Britney Spears' downward spiral. Kylie has offered the singer advice after seeing pictures of Britney sobbing, barefooted, outside her house on Monday night. Kylie said: "I wish someone would write a manual about fame because it's not easy. I'm always loathed to say that because there are a lot more difficulties out there that people deal with everyday – but when fame is handed to you it's unique. It's not to the same extreme, but I can remember having a mini-meltdown myself – and unless you've got good people around to support you, you've got a problem." Reaching out to Britney, Kylie added: "Who knows what is going on in her life? Britney isn't that young any more. I think she will still come back, but it's like she's taken an extended holiday. Whatever help she needs, she should reach out and get it."
Gladiators back on TV
Three, two, one… yep, legendary Saturday night TV show Gladiators is returning to our TV screens. *Waves foam finger in the air.* The 90s combat show will be relaunched on Sky – eight years after the original was axed by ITV1. “Gladiators always got stick for being naff but the reality is people liked it,” says a insider. “Obviously some of the challenges they used to do were a bit tame, so it will be given a 21st Century makeover and a new batch of Gladiators will be sought.” Oh, why can’t we have Wolf and co back? It’d be funny to see old people trying to get into unitards…
