Lynne Spears: “Lutfi drugged Britney”
The latest allegations to surface in the ugly mess that is Britney Spears life are that her manager Sam Lutfi had been drugging the star in an attempt to control her life. Brit’s mum Lynne made these and other shocking accusations when she presented a signed declaration to an LA court asking for Lutfi to be put under a restraining order to keep him away from her daughter. Among the bizarre claims, Lynne says that Lutfi cut Britney’s home phone lines, removed her mobile phone chargers and bullied her, “Sam had told Britney she was an unfit mother, a piece of trash, and that she cares more about Adnan than her kids,” the report reads. Lynne goes on to claim, “Sam told me that he grinds up Britney’s pills. He told us that the doctor who is treating her now is trying to get her into a sleep-induced coma (what?!) so that they could give her drugs to heal her brain.” Following the presentation of this document, Lutfi is now banned from Brit’s LA home and is not allowed to come within 250 yards of the singer. He has also been told he cannot e-mail or call her. Phew. Is it just us, or is this is all getting more sinister by the minute, we just hope with all this bickering going on that they don’t forget to look after Britney.

Grammy dream on hold as Amy quizzed by police
Amy Winehouse has been quizzed by police at her rehab clinic in London. Police questioned the singer over video footage, published last month, of her taking crack cocaine. Amy was with cops for two hours at Capio Nightingale clinic and now faces being unable to travel to the US for the Grammys where she is nominated for six awards. If Amy does travel she will need a visa which is already in jeopardy after she was fined in October for possession of cannabis. Police acted after a complaint was made about Amy's drug binge – revealed to the public just a few weeks ago – and could wreck any hope of singing at the Grammys this weekend. A worried pal said, "The timing of this isn't great. She is desperate to go to the Grammys and needs to show US officials she is taking her rehabilitation seriously."

Fearne quits X Factor
Fearne Cotton has quit The X Factor – after landing a new gig to host a talent TV show in the US. Although insiders suggest that Fearne was unlikely to have had her contract renewed for a second series, pals say she decided to quit while she was ahead. "There was no guarantee she would have been doing a second series. It made sense to make a clean break and concentrate in America,” revealed a friend. “There's no bad blood between her and The X Factor lot, but they didn't exactly get on like a house on fire." Fearne will now go across the pond to co-host Last Comic Standing – a talent trawl for some of Americas funniest comedians.

Kylie talks about Olivier reunion...
As we reported yesterday, Kylie has denied that she’s back with her dishy French ex Olivier Martinez (boo). “I was just going to dinner with a pal and then everyone assumed we were dating again,” she says. “Olivier and I are just friends. We’ve always been friends.” Darn it! That’s our romantic Valentine’s reunion fantasy torn to strips. Kyles then went on to admit that she has been sharing her bed with someone, however – her pet dog Sheba. “I let her stay on my bed all night. In fact she slept with me for two nights in the hotel in Paris last week,” the singer laughed. There’s a crass joke in there somewhere, but we’re not going to be the ones to make it...
