Heather Mills chucks water over Paul's lawyer!
Never mind the fact that Heather Mills was awarded £24.3million yesterday in her divorce battle with Sir Paul McCartney – without doubt the best thing about the whole affair is that Heather chucked a cup of water over Sir Paul's lawyer, Fiona Shackleton. The lawyer arrived at court yesterday with Sir Paul sporting a serious bouffant hairdo at 10.15am, but left at 1.50pm with a flattened down, slicked back 'do. Court insiders said that Heather calmly poured the water over Sir Paul's lawyer AFTER the court announced its decision yesterday – which is probably a good thing as we don't think Mr High Court judge-man would have been very impressed. Mind you, we reckon Fiona might be thanking Heather in the long run – doesn't she look much, much better with her new 'do? Ooh, it's taken at least ten years off her. In other Mills-McCartney news, it's STILL not over yet – today, Heather is back in court to fight the details of the case going public.
George Clooney pays $1million for Winehouse
George Clooney must be a big Back To Black fan – as he's paying Amy Winehouse a whopping $1million to sing at a party he's throwing with Julia Roberts. George is helping fashion designer Giorgio Armani organise the bash on 5 May in New York, which is one of the biggest fashion events on the calendar. "She's seriously considering the offer," says an insider. Er, we BET she is. We'd do it for a packet of chips, personally.
Judge orders Brit to stump up cash for Kev
Britney Spears must pay £190,000 of ex-hubby Kevin Federine’s legal bills in their child custody case. This is despite the fact that Brit’s lawyers have argued that K-Fed can afford to settle himself. They claimed that Federline has been spending thousands of dollars at restaurants and recently tipped a waitress £1000 on a £180 bill. However, a judge at a LA court ruled that Britney should pay as her recent behaviour has caused most of the legal wrangles.
Dancing On Ice’s Suzanne: “I binged on a bottle of vodka a day”
Suzanne Shaw may have been victorious on ITV1’s Dancing On Ice final last weekend, but the ice dance champ reveals life hasn’t been so rosy up until now. The former Hear’Say singer has admitted that she battled depression and has suffered two breakdowns. “I hid the truth for a long time because I felt it made me a lesser person,” she said. “I slid into depression after Hear’Say split. I had hit rock bottom and couldn’t see a future.” Coupled with the band’s demise, Suzanne’s relationship with music producer Terry Adams deteriorated and she turned to booze. “I would binge, I often had a bottle of vodka a night.” Eventually she sought medical help and her GP perscribed anti-depressants. However, the petite singer had a second breakdown while suffering post-natal depression after giving birth to her son Corey by Darren Day. Darren infamously walked out on Suzanne on Mother’s Day 2005, when Corey was just three months old.
