Madonna: “I have panic attacks”
Last night at a glamorous ceremony in New York, Madonna was induced into the Hall Of Fame – an accolade that’s only been achieved by a few performers as you have to have been a recording artist for more than 25 years to qualify! But despite having been famous for quarter of a century, Nana Mads has revealed that she suffers from crippling panic attacks when she is on stage. "I have moments where I feel incredibly invincible and know that I have the audience in my hand – I know that everything is absolutely perfect," she says. "And then I have panic attacks where I feel like everyone is breathing my air and I cannot live up to everybody’s expectations and I might just die on stage." In a candid recent interview, Madge says that she doesn't have any doubts about her own abilities. "It's not a fear of performing," she insists, "I'm not worried about f**cking up – i really have panic attacks that everyone else is breathing my air." But the superstar has a simple method of coping, "I normally try to turn my back to the audience, take a deep breath and remind myself that it’s all temporary."
Joss to get “spiritually” married
Just in case we didn’t already know how like, kooky and individual Joss Stone was, she’s taken it upon herself to announce that instead of getting married in the regular way, she’d “like to be married spiritually one day”. If she keeps being such a nutcase, we think she’s going to have trouble finding a fella crazy enough to join her!
Johnny Vegas couldn’t cope with his missus
Comedian Johnny Vegas has been granted a divorce after revealing that he could no longer cope with his wife's "irrational and unpredictable behaviour". Vegas married partner Kitty Donnelly in July 2002, but only a year later realised that the marriage couldn't work due to her heavy drinking. In the court papers Vegas, using his real name Michael Pennington, stated that he came home on 3 September 2003 to find that Kitty "had been drinking and was aggressive and abusive to him throughout the night." The couple, who have a four month old son, separated but tried to patch up their problems for three days in March 2005 and then five days in August of that year, but have lived separately ever since. The judge granted Vegas a decree nisi.
Third time lucky for Ulrika Jonsson
She’s expecting her fourth child by a fourth father, but that hasn’t stopped Ulrika finding love… again. The pregnant TV presenter is marrying American Brian Monet in a London ceremony, and says; “There is no hope of me being skinny with a bump. If I look like a beached whale, there’s nothing I can do about it.” Anyone fancing predicting how long this one will last? Good luck, Brian!
