Update on Kerry's new baby
Kerry Katona is still waiting for the arrival of her fourth child, despite being rushed to hospital yesterday by husband Mark Croft. It's also emerged that Kerry has gone into labour five weeks early, not three as originally thought. Kerry was convinced the birth was imminent but hospital staff have calmed her, saying the baby  (a boy, who she's planning to name Max) was still hours away. Her spokesman Max Clifford said, "Going into hospital after her waters broke was a big relief for Kerry. She's had a tough time in recent months and over the last week or two she has been hardly able to walk due to massive water retention. But now she's told me she's happy and pleased that she is on the right place and that the baby will be born soon."  We'll keep you posted...

Simon slags off the Brits
Simon Cowell has confessed he thinks the Brits are a farce, after his star turn, Leona Lewis, was snubbed at this year’s awards. “I don’t like The Brits, they’re too sarcastic. They don’t represent what’s right in Britain at the moment,” says Simon. And it seems Mr Nasty might have a point: Leona is set to hit the top of the US charts with her debut album – her single Bleeding Love having already secured No 1. Simon adds, “Leona at the Brits tells you everything about the business. I believe you should recognise and celebrate success.” Are you listening, Mr Brit?

Lindsay to bare all

Lindsay Lohan is planning to strip off for her next movie role. The Hollywood star will play a nymphomaniac waitress in low-budget flick Florence. She’s hoping that the meaty role will mean she’s taken more seriously as an actress. Linds will pocket just  £40,000 for her striptease, with an insider saying, “Lindsay doesn’t care she’s getting paid peanuts. She wants to remind people she can act and she’s worth hiring.” Hmm, can't she do that and keep her clothes on?

Madonna gets the BBC in trouble
Ooh, Madonna's such a troublemaker. Her colourful language at the Live Earth gig has landed the BBC in hot water. During her performance last July, Madonna screamed at the crowds, "I want you to start jumping. Come on m*************." Ofcom have now slammed the BBC for allowing "the most offensive language" before the 9pm watershed. But it wasn't only Madge who was a little potty-mouthed – in fact, the f-word was heard SIX times, the first at 1.58pm. And with 150 complaints, Ofcom are furious that no efforts were made to bleep the language and will make the BBC air their reprimand on both BBC1 and BBC2. We think it's just lucky that Gordon Ramsay isn't a pop star...
