Boyzone end feud to make big comeback:
Boyzone made their first comeback appearance in Belfast on Sunday night, wowing the crowds with their buff bods – phwoar! The lads, who have been estranged for several years, finally put their differences behind them and hit the stage. Ronan also revealed that he and Louis Walsh have also kissed and made up after falling out years ago. "It was horrible when we fell out because we had been together such a long time and he was like a dad to me," he says. "It hurt a lot at the time, but it's water under the bridge now. It's magical to have everyone back together." If you fancy seeing the boys completely in the nude (save a little hat or two to hide their modesty...), take a look at the new issue of heat where you'll see the boys doing the Full Monty. Gosh, we really are feeling hot under the collar...
Becks kept waiting
He’s one of the busiest and most in-demand men on the planet, but David Beckham still makes time for people – and in this case it was rather a lot of time. The sexy star phoned a paralysed BMX rider in hospital, but ended up being put on hold for 40 minutes! Becks was at a BMX competition in LA when he saw a video about injured British rider Stephen Murray and decided to call the guy to wish him well. When he finally got through to the hospital in Baltimore where Stephen is being treated, Becks had to wait while the injured Brit was helped back to his chair, “He was in the middle of rehab,” explains a friend of Stephen’s. David didn’t mind and waited patiently to speak to an astonished Stephen. “They talked for half an hour,” the friend says, “Beckham wished him well and asked to be updated on his progress. The call made his day.” Oh, we just love Becks!
Danielle's new man
Danielle Lloyd has swapped her penchant for footballers and bagged herself a Gladiator. The ex-Miss Great Britain has been getting cosy with Tornado – a Royal Marine Commando – after a celebrity version of the hit show. The couple were spotted at Essex nightclub Faces, where an onlooker said, "They could not keep their hands off each other, but they went to extremes not to be snapped together, and Tornado got a bit shirty with the photographers." But while Danielle's spokesperson didn't go into any details on the new relationship, they did say, "They enjoy each other's company and are very good friends." It's amazing how quickly celebs make "very good" pals, isn't it?
Woolworths stop selling singles
High-street store and purveyors of pick ’n’ mix, Woolworths, have announced that they are to stop selling CD singles after a massive drop in sales. Woolies has decided that selling music downloads online is the wiser way to work, and yesterday they unveiled their new site. Woolworths’ director Jim Batchelor said, “Digital downloading is now the true customer choice. CDs are alive and well for album sales, but unfortunately the singles market is in terminal decline.” Ooh, it all sounds a bit serious, doesn’t it? Woolies will clear the last of their CD singles off the shelves in August, but have said they will still stock one-off charity tracks and big-event singles. They have also boasted that they will be selling their online top ten singles at the very competitive price of 59p, which is less than even Tesco. We feel a little sad at all this technological advancement. Or maybe we’re just feeling a little old...
