Becks a year after LA move: “I miss England”
While it only seems like yesterday that Posh and Becks packed up Beckingham Palace and moved to LA – it’s actually been a year already. And, according to David, the family are living the American dream. “We are really settled, I must admit. There’s not a single regret,” he said in an interview. “It’s all going really well.” And his three boys Brooklyn, Romeo and cheeky Cruz are loving it too and have even picked up the local lingo. “The kids are starting to get an American accent. They’re at school every day and learning different things about America. This is to be expected.” But despite all this, Becks does admit he misses England – particularly the food and drink. “I will always miss England. I miss my family, friends and a good old English pub… I miss a good lager shandy (should you really be admitting that, mate?) and a Sunday lunch while watching football.” Hmm, we’re sure you’ll be able to mop up those tears with all those dollar bills you have, Becks. Brooke’s tribute to police
Former Eastenders star Brooke Kinsella has branded the police “truly amazing”. The actress, whose 16-year-old brother was killed in a stabbing in north London last month, paid tribute to the police for their support in the wake of the murder. Speaking at The Sun’s Police Bravery Awards last night, Brooke said, “The police have been heroes and rocks for my whole family. On behalf of me, my family and my Ben, thank you for the work you do. In two short weeks I have learned the police of this country are the most amazing people.”
Ronnie Wood, 61, leaves wife for eighteen year old. Yuck
Sixty-one year old Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood has left his wife – for an 18-year-old cocktail waitress. Ewww. Despite the 43-year age gap, the rocker is reported to have found love with teen Russian Ekaterina Ivanova. But Ronnie’s wife-of-23-years Jo believes alcohol has impaired the rocker’s judgement, leading him to forge a "special" relationship with the teenager. Ekaterina is reported to have told friends, “She begged me not to steal him.” But Jo reckons Ekaterina has a problem with the booze too, insisting, “She is mad – she is a terrible alcoholic.” The pair are now shacked up together in Ronnie’s home in Ireland. What a nice image.
Jade makes TV comeback
Brace yourselves, everyone – the biggest gob in showbiz is heading back to TV. Yep, Jade Goody is to return to our screens with the imaginatively titled Living With Jade Goody on Living TV. This comes despite the Celebrity Big Brother racism row that left her career in tatters back in 2007. A source said: “There is a definite thirst for Jade among TV audiences. This show will give her fans a hilarious insight into Jade’s life.” Hmm… “She’s paid her dues as far as the BB thing is concerned so we’re glad to have her back.” Double Hmm…
