More details on Peaches marriage:
So yesterday, heatworld was the first website to reveal that crazy chick Peaches Geldof had got married – and to someone who wasn’t even her boyfriend. She’s truly amazing, isn’t she?! Instead, Bob Geldof’s 19-year-old daughter tied the knot with US rocker Max Drummey in a 15-minute ceremony in Vegas – the place where her own mother and father got married in 1986. But now it appears that not only did she keep her family in the dark (her dad was informed just a few minutes before the ceremony took place), but she also failed to tell the guy who thought he was dating her, Faris Badwan! A pal of his spoke out saying, "I spoke to him at the weekend and, as far as he was concerned, they were still together. Now, he doesn't know what's going on." In a statement released yesterday, her spokesperson claims that Peaches has the full support of their family. Max's dad, speaking outside his home in Boston said, "We're very happy for them both." You’ve got to give Peaches one thing – she certainly knows how to get people’s attention!

Cheryl admits: “I’m a weak singer”
We're only a few days away from the new series of The X Factor *screeeam*, and brand new judge Cheryl Cole has admitted candidly that she is actually quite a weak singer. The Girls Aloud star said, "I know my limits and am realistic about my ability." The singer went on to say she would never attempt to sing a powerful song by artists such as Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston, because there would be no comparison. Her comments came as she praised some of the hopefuls who had auditioned for The X Factor and picked risky ballads to sing. Asked for her tips, Cheryl advised, "I would stick to something simple but beautiful." Well, that certainly worked for Leona Lewis when she sang Somewhere Over The Rainbow two years ago. Chery, who won her place in Girls Aloud after appearing on the TV talent show Pop Stars: The Rivals in 2002, admitted that she'd been lucky not to have to face Simon Cowell in her auditions, and said how strange it was that she was working with Louis Walsh after he had judged her in the beginning. However, Cheryl says she's not happy to be known as a judge, saying, "I like to think I'm there to give opinion and advice." We can't wait to see how she gets on.

Jen and John split?!
We're keeping everything crossed that this is just a rumour and not fact, but reports have emerged this morning claiming that Jennifer Aniston has split with her singer boyfriend John Mayer. The pair had been going through a rough patch and allegedly decided to take a little break before splitting for good. A source revealed, "There's been a bit of tension for some time. John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn't ready for the level of commitment that Jen deserved." The sad news comes just weeks after speculation that the loved-up pair were planning to get married and even have kids – a sentiment that many assume would come from Jen as she is the older of the two. The actress has been notoriously unlucky in love since splitting from Brad Pitt four years ago, and we had high hopes when we saw how happy she looked with John. The source went on to say, "Initially, Jen was furious, but now she's simply sad – not to mention a little heartbroken." The Friends star did not have any immediate plans for marriage, but pals say she did want some sort of future timetable for her and John's relationship. Despite her heartbreak, Jen is said to be determined to remain friends with John. Oh, this is all so sad. PLEASE let it be a fake-up...

Kylie and Dannii duet
Kylie and her little sis Dannii have recorded a duet for a new BBC2 sitcom. The duo have done a version of ABBA's hit The Winner Takes It All for the new show called Beautiful People which will be shown later this year. Dannii has previously spoken out about wanting to duet with her sister, saying, "I really miss singing, so I am planning to do some more next year. Doing the duet with Kylie on tour was amazing. It was nice to share that. I definitely want to do a duet, it's just about finding the right thing and the right time." The comedy series, written by Gimme Gimme Gimme creator Jonathan Harvey, is currently being filmed and is based on the childhood of British-born writer Simon Doonan, now a bigwig designer at Barney's department store in New York. We are tres excited about this drama!
