Zac Efron to be the next Johnny Depp!
We were excited enough when we heard Johnny Depp was going to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow for the fourth time – and now we're even more excited, because our HSM crush Zac Efron is taking part too. Hollywood's latest addition to the heartthrob club has reportedly signed a £6million deal with Disney to appear in Pirates Of The Caribbean 4, alongside Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley. The figure is nearly double what Zac scooped for High School Musical 3, and illustrates just how powerful a star he is becoming. It is thought that Disney want Zac to eventually take over trom Johnny Depp as the main lead in the movies. As part of the deal, Zac will also reprise his role as Troy Bolton in High School Musical 4 – a move that he previously said he was unsure of. Still, we think that a lot of his female fans will be jumping for joy this morning at the thought of all this extra Zac-time.

Guy: "Madonna is spying on me"
Another day, and yet more drama from the Guy vs Madge split saga unfolds. Madonna has apparently been hiding behind newspapers and carrying a huge magnifying glass (er, well, not exactly) to spy on her estranged husband. She’s allegedly got her staff monitoring Guy’s every move, and even infiltrated a private Ritchie family meal at the weekend. But now Guy has compared Madge’s actions to “something concocted by the KGB”, reportedly telling his ex-missus, “This is a divorce, not the Cold War.” A friend adds, “When Guy found out he lost the plot. He said, ‘How can you set fire to our whole world? Why go to such lengths to destroy me? But Guy knows it would be unusual if Madonna wasn’t monitoring his every move. She’s a control freak and there’s so much at stake.”

Is Lindsay chasing Chace?
Lindsay Lohan seems a little confused – if reports are to be believed. Just hours after raving about her girlfriend Sam Ronson on her blog, she was spotted flirting with TV's Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford, who she's now said to have a crush on! We can see why... Lindsay met Chace at the Diesel XXX Rock party in New York, where the pair are said to have swapped numbers and have since spoken up to four times a day to one another. One partygoer said, "Lindsay took a real shine to Chace and was pretty much throwing herself at him all night. She was standing in such a way that some part of her body was always touching him – at one point hip to hip. She was also giving him the filthiest looks, whispering in his ear, and turning everything he said into an innuendo." Everyone on the set of Gossip Girl has reportedly been teasing him mercilessly, as Lindsay has been calling him three or four times a day and sending provocative text messages. A friend of the actress said, "Although she may just be having a laugh and not have any serious amorous intentions, everyone reckons Sam will go mad when she finds out." But we reckon Sam hasn't got too much to worry about...on her blog Lindsay affectionately writes about her girlfriend, saying, "I go out when Samantha is working because she’s pretty great to hear. I love to be around her and her energy as much as possible.”

Trinny and Susannah show postponed
Has the nation finally tired of gratuitous boob-groping? We suspect not entirely, but when said boob-groping comes from the hands of Trinny and Susannah, this would certainly seem to be the case. The pair attracted criticism with their latest series Undress The Nation, which pulled in only two million viewers, and, quite frankly, was a little bit rubbish. Trin ’n’ Suz were due to appear on-screen in Trinny And Susannah Meet Their Match later this month, but ITV has pulled the show – in which they dress up the "mature lady" – to “re-edit and rebrand”. An insider says, “They have had two lots of specials this year, but this is a tough project. It was felt it needed more work in the editing suite.” The series will now be shown next year.
