Russ and Ross: now even the PM is getting involved
What started off as a light-hearted prank has now really gone off the scale. Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross' calls to veteran actor Andrew Sachs have now caused over 10,000 people to complain – including the Prime Minister Gordon Brown! He actually took a break from discussing international affairs to comment on the matter, saying, "This is clearly inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour." Crikey! As well as the PM, the girl who Russell admitted to sleeping with, Andrew Sachs' granddaughter Georgina, has also come forward and spoke of her "anger" over what's happened. "They are beyond contempt," she said, adding that she thought both comedians should be sacked for their actions. Andrew Sachs himself has now received letters and flowers of apology from both Russell and Jonathan, but is still angry that neither man has made an attempt to apologise to Georgina. "She [Georgina] is very upset at having put her family through this and feels very guilty," he explained. Georgina is especially angry with Russell, whom she thought she could trust. "I feel totally and utterly exposed and betrayed," she said, "He is clearly no gentleman." Georgina, who works as a burlesque dancer in a tongue-in-cheek troupe called Satanic Sluts, says she got a call from Russell and Jonathan before the show aired, explaining what they had done and apologising. "They seemed to be trying to make a joke out of it," she said, "But I could tell they were a bit concerned at the time." The show was actually recorded a whole two days before it was broadcast, and most people are now wondering how these calls ever got through the editing process. Kerry has reached an all-time low
As we told you yesterday, Kerry Katona has parted ways with her publicist, Max Clifford – but it appears he's not the only person close to her who's had enough. Kerry's live-in nanny Gemma has moved out of the family home, telling friends she's had enough of Kerry and Mark's constant demands. Ever since her shambolic This Morning performance, things have slowly begun unraveling around Kerry, and pals say they are seriously worried for her health. One pal said, "She is terrified the public have turned against her and her career is over. If she loses everything she's worried Mark will walk out too. He is all she has left." Worryingly, friends also say that Kerry has been haunting herself by watching clips of her This Morning interview over and over on YouTube, and that she has been upset by some of the spiteful comments she read about herself online. Her split from long-time publicist and friend Max Clifford marks a grim turning point for the star, and although Max had only kind words for Kerry yesterday, it does illustrate just how difficult she has become to manage. One friend said, "The pair of them were close and only time will tell if it's the right move. Now it seems it's just Mark calling the shots with her career." Oh dear. Here at heatworld we only want the best for Kerry, but she seems to be on a pretty straight path to self-destruction at the moment.

Simon steps in to save TOTP
Following on from the sad, sad news that Christmas Top Of The Pops had gone to the big showbiz graveyard in the sky (joining such gems as B*witched, Smash Hits and er, Mr Blobby), it looks like all is not lost. Simon Cowell – an avid fan of TOTP, it would seem – has stepped in to save the festive show, as he doesn’t want to ruin Christmas for several million pop fans across the UK. Bless. He says, “I’ve got a suggestion for them. If they don’t want it, I’ll take it. I’m serious. They can give it to me or I will give them a bit of money. Why end the tradition? It’s like not having Christmas pudding. I don’t believe in breaking with tradition. This year has been phenomenal for British music and we should celebrate by making Top Of The Pops at Christmas a fantastic event. I’ve made them an offer – lets see if they accept.” So BBC bosses – listen up! We’re sure Mr Multimillionaire himself has made you an offer you can’t refuse…
 
Madonna drew up "marriage contract" for Guy
As the weeks draw on in what is the most public divorce battle since Macca and Heather Mills, the Madonna and Guy Ritchie saga continues – as an insider once again lifts the lid on what it was rumoured to be like as one half of the Ciccone/Ritchie couple. Her Madjesty is reported to have issued Guy with a "marriage contract", instructing her hubby how often they should go on dates, read Kabbalah texts and even how often they should have sex. Guy was also allegedly instructed to look Madge in the eye instead of shouting at her, and recite the following words, “I understand that my actions have upset you, please work with me to resolve this.” Sounds constructive… but maybe not the most loving course of action for a loving wife and husband…
