Even more details about Gordon Ramsay's 'affair'...
The drama continues in the Ramsay household today, after the weekend's revelations that he had a seven-year affair with another woman. Yesterday Gordon and wife Tana put on a united front as they left their home in south London and, while Gordon refused to talk, Tana said, "I'm fine, I'm good thanks." But already friends and family of the couple are coming forward and giving an insight into what's really going on behind closed doors, with Tana's sister-in-law saying that Gordon and Tana have been "hit for six" by the claim. Adele Hutcheson said, "They told me that it's simply not true and they will be fighting to prove that." Meanwhile, more tawdry stories from the affair are coming to light, with one newspaper reporting that Gordon treated his alleged mistress Sarah Symonds to a slap-up meal after bedding her. Another newspaper talks of Tana becoming used to her husband's flirting and roving eye – with one friend alleging, "Sometimes Tana just doesn't ask what Gordon is up to, even though she is aware about what goes on. She does not question him when she has become suspicious when rumours are flying." But there appears no question as to whether Tana will leave him – friends say she will stand by her man, adding, "They have a fulfilling life together, but Tana is no fool, She has her kids, her beautiful house and now her TV career, which, let's face it, is off the back of her husband's fame. There is no question that she won't stand by Gordon."
Timmy Mallet’s wife: “He’s an annoying little git”
There are so many, um, how shall we put it? Interesting, characters in the I'm A Celeb jungle this year, that it's difficult to know which one to be most irritated by. But, let's face it, Timmy Mallett is pretty high in the ranking. What is that maniacal cackle all about?! Anyway, it would seem the British viewing public aren't the only ones who think Timmy can be a bit annoying – his own wife has admitted that even she realises how bad he can be. "Timmy and David were sent in to stir things up," explained Lynda Mallett, "And Timmy certainly did, being the annoying little git he can be." Hilarious! Lynda then went on to admit that she's not even sure if she wants Timmy to win, saying, "I don't know. Will he be worse?" Lynda is also just as fed up as we are with that crazy laugh Timmy insists on doing, admitting, "Our son can't stand it and will always tell him to shut it and stop laughing like a hyena." Despite these revelations however, Lynda has also said that she thinks Timmy is not very happy in the jungle, and that behind all the giggles he is feeling a bit "grim". Talking about the strained relationship between Timmy and his jungle companion Robert Kilroy-Silk, Lynda says the pair have never liked each other. "Robert is no monster," she said, "But I think he will find Timmy very irritating." Hee hee. We love all this jungle conflict.
Tom talks about Oprah’s sofa
If heatworld could be invisible for a day, one place we'd definitely head to would be TomKat Towers. The Hollywood couple are, without doubt, one of the most intriguing couples on the showbiz circuit, and we'd love to be a fly on their wall. Well, now Tom Cruise himself has opened up for the first time about his marriage to Katie, and it's pretty revealing stuff. Talking about his infamous sofa-jumping and subsequent career nosedive, the Top Gun actor admits, "There are things that I could have done better. I was surprised at the criticism, but it brought everyone closer together. Katie's entire family and my family." Tom has nothing but loving words for his young wife, saying of Katie, "She's a confident and strong woman, incredibly wise, very gracious and an elegant person." Tom says he "adores" his family life, but that he and Katie have no plans to have more children at the moment. "We'll have more children, but Kate's working and we're enjoying this time right now." There's also no doubt that Tom is totally besotted with Suri (aren't we all), saying, "She's happy and fun, she'll just wave to people in the street." Well, maybe life at chez Cruise isn't so weird after all. We might just have to take our invisible selves off to the Beckhams' pad instead...
Amy's back in hospital
A huge row with husband Blake Fielder-Civil has put Amy Winehouse back in hospital. The singer is said to have been admitted to a hospital after a drink and drugs binge – sparked by a screaming match with her wayward hubby. Amy was rushed to a London clinic after having a "seizure" during the bender, and after a host of tests she is still being monitored. A source revealed, "They had a screaming row. She was beside herself after the call – and she just totally lost it." Blake is currently also undergoing rehabilitation, but despite Amy paying the costs – stacking up to a massive £32,000 – she hasn't been to visit him. Amy's spokesperson has confirmed that she "had a bad reaction to the combination of medication she has currently been prescribed."
