"Besotted" James buys Alexandra a £4,000 watch:
It's no secret that James Corden is a big hit with the ladies, and now he's set his sights on the lady of the moment – Alexandra Burke. The Gavin & Stacey star has reportedly bought Alexandra a £4,000 Cartier watch in a bid to woo her, and pals are saying the 30 year old is utterly smitten. The pair met when James appeared as a guest on The Xtra Factor, and the comedian immediately joked that he'd like to marry her. Alexandra's mum Melissa reveals, "He is absolutely besotted. It's a bit full on, but Alexandra seems to be taking it in her stride." As well as sending her the lavish gift, James has also been texting the X Factor champ since her win on Saturday. A source revealed, "Alexandra is massively flattered, but although they are texting each other, I can't see her falling for his charms. He's not really her type." James remains determined, however, saying he'd make Alexandra laugh and "bring her tea". We wonder what Cheryl Cole – who, let's not forget, advised Alexandra to stay clear of the boys – thinks of all this? Personally, we'd LOVE it if Alexandra got together with James, but we won't be betting our slice of Christmas Pudding on it...

Jade’s car repossessed
Poor old Jade – things aren’t looking too great for Jade Goody this festive season in the financial stakes. While the star continues her battle with cancer, the bailiffs have been called in to repossess her posh £210,000 Bentley after she fell behind with repayments. But Jade has negotiated a deal with financial firm Lombards in a bid to keep her wheels. Jades spokesperson says, “There was an order for repossession, but we’re trying to sort it out. Jade definitely wants to keep the car.”
 
Richard and Judy may quit over low ratings
They used to be the most popular TV presenting duo in Britain, but now disappointing ratings on their new digital show have caused Richard and Judy to consider throwing in the towel. The couple were paid £1million each to make the switch from Channel 4 to UKTV channel Watch but, whereas they used to pull in millions, the new slot only gets an audience of 12,000 or so. Yesterday Richard said, "When you go to a new channel, let alone a new programme on an existing channel, of course the ratings are going to be incredibly low compared to before. If it doesn't work, it's not the end of the world. We knew we were going to a very small audience to begin with, but the trick is to build it." Do you watch Richard and Judy's show? We're sorry, but we can't help but feel a bit sorry for Kerry Katona. The woman deserves a medal for putting up with the latest antics of her errant husband, the delightful Mark Croft. In the latest series of her MTV reality show, Kerry Katona: 12 Months Of Mayhem, the former Atomic Kitten and her man are caught on camera at the precise moment Mark discovers he's fathered another child. As the DNA results are presented to him, Mark tells the camera bluntly, "Sounds nasty, but I've got my family. I don't want anything to do with him." He then goes on to tell a stunned Kerry that the baby boy was conceived before he met her, before repeating that he doesn't want anything to do with the boy. Even Kerry is left almost speechless. Seriously, we've said it before, but HOW does this man attract any women, let alone more than one? He makes our brains throb with rage.
