It's the news!
ANOTHER X Factor romance?
Blimey, was there something in the water at The X Factor house or what? First, we had the are-they aren’t-they romance of Diana and Eoghan – and now JLS hunk Oritse is rumoured to be getting quite close with sexy senorita Ruth Lorenzo. They are so close in fact, that they have been sharing a hotel room with X Factor winner Alexandra Burke since the show finished. The boybander is unable to go home due to his mum battling multiple sclerosis combined with tensions at home, and Ruth has been providing him with a shoulder to cry on. “Ortise has spent the past few months living with the finalists,” said a source. “He was the breadwinner for the family, but things are very tense at home with some of his relatives. So he hasn’t been able to go home yet and has been staying with Ruth and Alex.” Although a spokesman for Ruth said that she is still very much together with her fiance Juan, we’d kind of like another X Factor romance. Although maybe not with Daniel and Rachel…
Rachel: “My fella’s not jealous”
Strictly star Rachel Stevens insists her fiance is not jealous of her dancing with Vincent Simone – despite their performances together being sizzling hot. And her man Alex Bourne actually wants them to get steamier for the final tomorrow. “Luckily Alex is obsessed with the show like I am. He’s been an amazing support and he and Vincent have really bonded, which is great,” says Rachel. “Because he’s an actor he totally understands it’s a performance. He’s very secure about our relationship and tells me to be as raunchy as I can. He thinks if people believe there’s something going on between me and Vincent then we’re not doing our job right.” Well, that’s all very understanding, isn’t it? He sounds like a keeper, Rach.
More Xmas tension for Madge and Guy
The amicable Christmas day chez Madonna and Guy Ritchie looks as though it won't happen after all – with Guy banning her from staying at his house. Madonna is said to have wanted them to put their differences aside and have a family celebration at the house they used to share in the country. The duo had agreed to put on a united front for the sake of the three children, but now Guy has said that he doesn't want her sleeping over at the mansion in Wiltshire. A source revealed, "Guy is desperate to see the children on Christmas Day and was OK with them all spending the day at Ashcombe. He was even willing to have Madonna there and try to be civilised for the sake of the children. But having her stay over was just too much. He couldn't bear her padding round the kitchen next morning like old times – there are too many sad memories." Ashcombe house in Wiltshire was the house Guy got to keep in the divorce settlement and Madonna is said not to like the house, but with little else around there is no alternative for Madonna. Guy is now said to have offered to fly to New York for the day instead, but with Christmas just six days away, it's getting very late to organise. The source added, "They're trying to come to some solution, but they just can't agree on anything… If one of them doesn't back down, it could be a very unhappy Christmas."
Amy wants to do Hole In The Wall!
Amy Winehouse has had a pretty lame year when it comes to producing any music and her life has quite literally lurched from one drama to another. But while she's been holed up in her house, it seems she has got hooked on possibly one of the naffest-slash-best shows on TV: Hole In The Wall. Amy is no stranger to addiction, but now she is said to be obsessed with the BBC show which sees a collection of celebs wearing skin-tight Lycra facing a foam partition that races towards them at an alarming speed. They then have to attempt to jump through the hole or fall into a pool of cold water. Team captains Darren Gough and Anton Du Beke are joined each week by two celebrity guests, one of which could soon be Ms Winehouse. The source revealed, "She thinks the show is an absolute hoot and has asked producers if she can star in the upcoming episode. They're giving it some thought, but are understandably in two minds as to whether a junkie, wrapped in silver, jumping through holes, will go down well with the prime-time viewing public."
