Ooh, controversial! Jonathan Ross to host the BAFTAs
Jonathan Ross' suspension is almost at an end, and he's certainly coming back into the limelight in style. The TV funnyman has landed the coveted job of presenting the Bafta Film Awards on 8 February – just two weeks after he'll first be back on our screens with his Friday-night chat show. The fact that the BBC have offered Rossy the prestigious job shows that they must trust him again following the debacle that was Sachsgate. We wonder if Rossy will make any cheeky remarks about the incident on the night. Although he might want to be careful, as rumours are going around that quite a few big-name stars were pretty angry about what happened. Are you glad to have Rossy back?
Now we can smell like Leona
Ever wondered what success actually smells like? Well, soon you might be able to find out, as one of the biggest success stories in the world, like, ever is launching her first fragrance. Yep, X Factor champ Leona Lewis will join the likes of Britney Spears, Kate Moss and, erm, Jade Goody by launching her own perfume, and we'd bet anything it's going to have a very sweet aroma. A source revealed, "Leona wanted to make sure she would be working with an ethical company. She's had a big hand in helping to create the fragrance and in the design of the bottle." Leona, who previously said she was focused solely on her music career and that she wouldn't be releasing a perfume, is very excited about the project. "I am passionate about what I do," she gushed, "It is important for me to give the best I can to my fans." Will you be running out to get your mitts on a bottle of Leona's perfume?
Coolio and Michelle told to cool it
Coolio and Michelle finally called a truce last night – after Big Brother told them to pack it in! The duo have been winding each other up for days, with Coolio deliberately baiting Michelle leaving her moaning and in tears. But just when we thought we'd have a break from her whinging, Big Brother set housemates a task – and Michelle wasn't amused. With a total of seven different challenges relating to the children's toy task, Michelle and Verne were told to dress like teddy bears. When Michelle objected to the task, Big Brother simply responded with 'bear with it'. But Michelle and Verne complained that the task was beginning to affect their health. Michelle said, "We don't care that we look like f****** idiots dressed as bears, but there has to be a point when it makes us physically sick..." Verne agreed, adding, "My stomach is reeling right now."
Daniel Craig: My early films are rubbish
Daniel Craig's always been a modest, understated actor bloke, which is kinda why we like him so much (or is it because of his penchant for tight swimming shorts? Hmm). Anyway, the Bond star has admitted – live on US telly – that some of his early films are, well, a bit crap really. "There was a time I'd go into Blockbuster and if they had a film of mine on the shelf I used to throw it under the counter," he revealed to talk-show host Jon Stewart. Awww, Dan, we're sure your fans would disagree.
