Take That "snubbed" at the Brits
Last night saw the unveiling of this year’s Brit Awards nominees – Coldplay and Duffy head up the pack with four nominations. But despite having a super duper year, everyone’s favourite man band Take That have only been nominated for one award. Boo. Not only that, but X Factor champ and all-round singing sensation Leona has also scooped just one nomination! However, heatworld’s delighted that Girls Aloud have been nominated for Best British Group… let the Chezzamania continue! The ceremony takes place in London on 18 February, and with Kylie, Mat Horne and James Corden on board, it’s sure to be a rather ace evening. We can’t wait! Scroll down for a full list of all the nominees and tell us what you think.

Moyles offends again
Not a month goes by without a *insert offensive matter here*-gate at the BBC. Now it’s Chris Moyles’ turn. As no stranger to controversial comments, it’s not really a shock that the Radio 1 DJ has got himself into a spot of bother once again. While talking about his forthcoming stint on BBC1's Who Do You Think You Are?, which traces celebs’ ancestors, Chris made some slightly “misjudged” comments about World War Two concentration camp Auschwitz. He told listeners, “I went off to Ireland and other places to film, and unlike a lot of the Who Do You Think You Are? shows, I didn’t go to Auschwitz. Pretty much everyone goes there whether or not they’re Jewish. They just seem to pass through there on their way to Florida.” A spokesperson for Chris says, “We regret his comments were misjudged and we are speaking to Chris." Are you offended by Chris' comments, or are you banging your head on the keyboard as we speak?

Kelly pockets £200,000 for a week's work
Kelly Brook may be devastated at being booted off Britain's Got Talent just six days into filming, but finding out that she will still be paid the full £200,000 agreed should take the sting away! The 29-year-old was due to pick up around £33,000 a day for her place on the judging panel, after Simon Cowell agreed she was entitled to the full amount. But insiders say Kelly is still very upset by the decision and feels stitched-up by Simon, whom they insist did not give her a chance. One source said, "How can he judge whether she will fit in after such a short time? He didn't give her enough time." While a show insider revealed, "It seems Cowell is embarrassed by the whole affair and wants it to go away, hence he's giving Kelly the cash." Oh well, at least she can go shopping to cheer herself up!

Yay! JLS land record deal

They were one of our most favourite things about last year's X Factor, so we're very excited to hear that boy band JLS have signed a recording deal. The boys signed with R&B label Epic, who also look after Lemar, Shakira and Scouting For Girls, and are said to very excited about their future. Aston, JB, Ortise and Marvin came very close to nabbing the X Factor crown from Alexandra Burke, and were already causing scenes of chaos at their gigs before the show was even finished. Even Simon Cowell himself admitted the band were "brilliant". Last night an executive at Epic said, "JLS are the best boy band to emerge from a TV talent show. The band already have an incredible fan base, and we look forward to launching their recording career." We can't wait to hear what the boys come up with. Congratulations, guys!
