Jade: “It’s brilliant to have Jack back”
There hasn't been much for Jade Goody to smile about lately, so it was nice to see the huge grin on her face when she went to meet boyfriend Jack Tweed as he was released from prison yesterday. The 21-year-old served just four months of an 18-month sentence, and will now have to live with his mum and wear an electronic tag – but none of that has stopped Jade being ecstatic to have her man back. Last night, the jubilant BB star admitted, "It's absolutely brilliant having Jack back. I'm delighted." The couple were later seen taking Jade's sons to a toy shop, before heading back to Jade's home together. One friend said, "Both are thrilled to be back together. Jade has really needed someone to lean on." Although we've never been the biggest fans of Mr Tweed, there's no denying it's nice to see a real smile back on Jade's face.

BB Tommy faces trial
Just when he thought he'd won a tiny bit of public support, Celebrity Big Brother star Tommy Sheridan finds himself caught up with the law. Four days after exiting the CBB house in Elstree, the Scottish politician and his wife found out that they will face trial on perjury charges of £200,000 – after being served papers yesterday. The duo won damages from a Sunday newspaper after it was reported that he was a sex cheat, but now, more than two years on, he may be convicted for perjury – which could see them locked up for up to ten years. Tommy said; "We will fight to clear our names"
 
Paris: “Gordon Ramsay’s the PM, isn’t he?”
It's a good thing Paris Hilton is on the quest to find a British new best friend, because her knowledge of this country isn't quite up to scratch. When the heiress was asked yesterday if she knew who the Prime Minister was, she replied, "Yes, it's Gordon Ramsay, isn't it?" Much as we'd like that to be the case, Paris, it's unfortunately another Gordon you're thinking of. As well as being in the dark when it comes to politics, Paris also had no idea what a pint was, and what Essex was. Well, at least she won't end up at Faces night club then. When heat spoke exclusively to Paris recently, she did admit that some of her more outrageously airhead stuff is all an act, so we're a little suspicious that she might just have been having a laugh with the whole Gordon Ramsay thing. Ugly Betty facing chop
Bad news. Ugly Betty is facing the chop after ratings slumped in the US. The once smash-hit TV show has had a dramatic drop on the ratings front and bosses have moved the show from a prime time slot on Thursday to make way for new sitcom Samantha Who. As yet, no date has yet been set for the show to return to UK screens. An ABC spokesperson said, "The Thursday night block is a good opportunity to launch these comedies. That said, Ugly Betty is a solid performer and there is no question that it will definitely be back to complete its season – just without repeats." So there's still hope...
