Huge congratulations are in order for Alexandra Burke today – the X Factor winner has only gone and bagged herself a £3.5million US record deal. Amazing! Alexandra is following in the footsteps of Leona Lewis as she prepares to take the US chart by storm – and it turns out she already has a massive fan base over in the States. Thousands of fans logged on to watch the singer duet with Beyonce during The X Factor, and such was the interest after this that Alexandra's website actually crashed. She will be looked after by the team behind both Beyonce and Rihanna, and Simon Cowell will also be by her side masterminding her five-album deal. An industry insider from the States said, "The US market loves women with big voices – and Alex certainly has that. If she comes close to Leona's success it will be a job well done." Ange ‘totally creeped out’ by octuplet woman
We're sure that by now you've all heard of and seen photos of the American woman who's just given birth to octuplets? Yes, eight babies all in one go – wowser! Anyway, the woman – 33-year-old Nadya Suleman – has become somewhat of a celebrity in her own right since the story of her astonishing pregnancy hit the headlines, but now she's actually becoming famous for another reason – her fascination with actress Angelina Jolie. The mum-of-fourteen – yes, she already had six children before she gave birth to the eight – has admitted that she's a huge fan of the big-lipped star, and she also bears a slight resemblance. They do say imitation is the greatest form of flattery, but Ange herself is not impressed with the association, apparently admitting she's "totally creeped out" by Nadya. It's also being reported that Nadya's love of Angelina has gone beyond just growing her hair and having some lip fillers – she's also been trying to contact the star. A source is claiming Nadya sent Ange letters of praise, which is fine, but coupled with the fact she looks just like her has led the actress to become "irritated". Well, soon we imagine she'll have very little time to write letters, what with 14 kids to look after and all...

Surprise, surprise. Madonna has already converted her new man, Jesus Luz, to Kabbalah. Yawn. The singer, 50, who recently split with Guy Ritchie, was linked to hunky Jesus, 22, after a shoot in W magazine, in which he cavorted semi-naked with Madge. Jesus, who is a strict Catholic, updated his website informing friends of the move and has joined an online community for Kabbalah believers. A source revealed, "Jesus’ family are very traditional and quite religious, so this news is sure to come as something of a shock. But Jesus is totally taken with Madonna and is slightly in awe of her. Quite simply he can’t get enough, and finds her utterly compelling and bewitching. The pair have spent a lot of time together in recent weeks and Madonna’s chatted quite freely about her personal beliefs – especially Kabbalah.” Even if the news is a shock to his family and his homeland Brazil, he claims he doesn't mind, saying on his online profile: "It is not important what others think about us. The most important thing is to have a clear conscience, even if I am condemned. We can not forget that Jesus was condemned.”
