Sam Lutfi can't leave Britney alone:
Britney's former "manager" and "close friend" Sam Lutfi has today denied rumours that he's he's attempting to sue the Spears family because of his massive debts. It had been reported that Sam was on the verge of losing his California home, after running up debts in excess of £12,000. Sam filed court papers stating that he was planning to sue the Spears family over claims of defamation and libel just this week – but insists the two things are not linked. His lawyer commented, "It's nonsense. This is just more lies and misrepresentation about a guy who is a great caring human being." Sam Lutfi, who is currently forbidden to contact Britney or her family after she obtained a temporary restraining order, has always maintained that he has Britney's best interests at heart. Although, the fact that he's now attempting to sue her and her family kind of proves that's not, in actual fact, the honest truth. We will let you know how all this progresses.
Strictly sheets hit by faketangate
OK, so we all knew those Strictly Come Dancing folk were plastered in pan stick and fake tan, but we didn’t think their glowing selves were causing anyone any harm. But no. Hotel owners aren’t too amused the stars on the Strictly tour – including Tom Chambers, Jodie Kidd and Rachel Stevens – are leaving body and face-shaped orange stains on their sheets. Eek. Three hotels on the tour circuit have been forced to splash out thousands of pounds in dry-cleaning bills to rid their premises of that unmistakable fake-tan glow. A source says, “The make-up department spray it on liberally and on a daily basis, but unfortunately it has a tendency to run at night. Because they use such heavy duty stage make-up and tanning products, it has been ruining the bed linen and towels.” Oh dear. But Strictly wouldn’t be the same with pasty-white faces, now would it?
Lily’s condom dilemma… and her Simon text faux pas
It’s nice to know that some celebrities are very responsible and attempting to have safe sex and all that, but Lily Allen is a bit cross she can’t buy condoms in public because, well, people talk. Tsk. She says, “People say you pay the price of fame. There are some things I can’t do anymore… I can’t just go to a shop to get condoms… just regaular daily stuff that’s gotten difficult.” And saucy Lil’s sexual antics don’t stop there – she even managed to accidently proposition Simon Cowell via text message over Christmas. As you do. She explains, “I was kind of seeing this guy and then it was over. So I texted my godmother in Jamaica and told her, and then as a joke I said, ‘Maybe my next conquest should be Simon Cowell.' You know when someone is in your mind and you accidentally text them? He replied, ‘Sorry?’” We feel your pain, Lily, we’ve all been there…
Blake hires top divorce lawyer
Things have been a bit quiet on the Amy Winehouse ’n’ Blakeincarcerated front in the past week, but perhaps not for much longer. Blaaaaaaaaake is reported to have hired top divorce lawyer Herni Brandman in his quest to legally split from his wife – and has “even decided to contact the men Amy’s meant to have slept with” to testify against her. Oh dear… things aren’t looking too good, eh?
