Brave Jade "has wedding to look forward to"
We're all still reeling in shock over the news that BB star Jade Goody has been given only months to live, but the lady herself has been putting on a brave face – even heading out determinedly yesterday in search of a wedding dress. Frail Jade made the shopping trip with Jack Tweed and his mum, but had to spend most of the time in a wheelchair because she has become so weak. Ever since being told the heartbreaking news about her condition, Jade has focused on planning her wedding to Jack – thought to be taking place at the hospital – and the future of her two sons. A friend of the star said last night, "Jade is dying – she knows that. But this wedding has given her something to look forward to." It is thought that Jade will also be getting her two sons baptised, so they know, "Mummy will be in heaven watching over them." Jade wants nothing more than to marry Jack and be a proper family – even if it is only for a little while. She says, "I love Jack with all my heart and I want to be his wife. All I want to do now is spend time with him and the kids." In a shock admission, Jade also says she may even choose to die on camera, as she is still being filmed for her Living TV show. "I lived in front of the camera and may be I'll die in front of them."

Chris makes official apology
We knew it would only be a matter of time before disgraced rapper Chris Brown made an official statement about what happened with Rihanna. After all, nothing he said could be any worse than what some members of his own family have been saying. The R&B star has released a statement apologising for the incident, which says: "Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am. I am seeking counselling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones. Much of what has been speculated or reported is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say." Rihanna – who has yet to say anything more than she's "okay" – is still in hiding. Chris is set to appear in court in early March.

Ellery leaves the ice
Rugby player Ellery Hanley bombed out of Dancing On Ice last night – after a painful tumble. Ellery was in the skate-off with Melinda Messenger and admitted, "I am a little bit disappointed with the little trip." But gracious in defeat he paid tribute to "wonderful" partner Frankie Poultney and described mentors Christopher Dean and Jane Torvill as "absolutely delightful". Ray Quinn really stole the show getting the maximum of 6 points from each judge  after his '80s dance routine to Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now, but it wasn't just on the ice that all the fun and games were happening. Never far from the headlines, judge Jason Gardiner blasted fellow judge Nicky Slater for his "unpredictable" scoring. Branding him too soft he said, "I'm very impartial. If you fall over you deserve to be marked low. This series it seems he's decided to play the loving uncle. His scores are outrageously high and unjustifiably so. But we have to accept it. How can you put somebody like Ellery half a point different from someone like Ray?" Ooh, Jason you're so controversial...yawn.

Frank Lampard splits from his partner
Fit footie player Frank (ooh! alliteration alert!) Lampard is splitting from his fiancee – after seven years together, it has emerged over the weekend. Frank and spanish ex-model Elen Rives have two young daughters together Luna and Isla, and had planned to marry, but friends say that Frank's public "dabbles" with two other women over the past few years have caused rifts (er, you don't say). Now, sources close to the couple say they are hammering out a deal over visiting rights and Elen's share of the Chelsea star's £25 million fortune – with Elen, who was one of the famous posse of WAGs alongside Cheryl and Coleen in Baden-Baden, expected to get up to half.
