Robbie: Take That reunion is a "done deal"
Robbie Williams last night revealed for the first time that he is definitely eager to go ahead with a Take That reunion, saying, "It's looking more likely by the week. I think it would be fun." Robbie, who's currently back in the UK after a long (far too long, in our opinion) stint over in LA, has admitted that the other Take That lads are also keen on the idea, and that they've definitely put all their former differences behind them. "We've matured now," explains Rob. "We'd have a laugh." Excitingly, Robbie seems to think the reunion will happen sooner rather than later, saying, "It would make sense for it to happen some time over the next year." Here at heatworld, we can't even begin to explain how excited we are at the thought of Robbie back on stage with Take That. He always was our secret favourite in the early days. But will it be just a one-off at a gig, or will he go as far as recording a single with them? We can't wait to find out! Madonna babies "on adoption standby"
News emerged yesterday of Madonna’s plans to adopt another child from Malawi – and she’s just days away from becoming mother to a youngster she fell in love with in August 2007. Since adopting David Banda from Malawi in 2006, Madonna’s made no secret of the fact she’s keen to give him a little sister from the country, who will also join Lourdes, 12, and Rocco, eight. Madge will fly in to the African country this weekend after a 19-month battle to make little Mercy James legally her child – but if the application is blocked, there are five other girls “on standby” for Madonna to adopt. A source says, “She desperately wants Mercy, but there are other orphans who need homes.”

Fern's already got another job – at the BBC!
Fern Britton has left bosses in the lurch by pulling out of hosting the British Soap Awards – which she previously co-hosted with Phillip Schofield. There is said to be a rift between the pair and this news is sure to add fuel to the fire, despite Fern's claims on the show yesterday that any trouble was "b******s". Fern is thought to have been paid £20,000 for hosting the awards – half of what Phillip is said to be coining, which angers her. One insider said "no one was surprised" adding, "Would you want to stand next to someone when they're getting paid twice as much?" However, Fern is already getting her own back – it has emerged that she has been offered a plum job at the BBC hosting a new light entertainment show, which she has accepted. Rumours are now rife that her move to the BBC has paved the way for Melanie Sykes to take Ferns job on This Morning. An ITV source said, "Fern's replacement is a one-horse race. This Morning is determined to sign Melanie and made a formal approach today."

Now, with a son who earns more in a week than most people earn in a lifetime, you would think being a footballer’s mum automatically meant money wasn’t in short supply. However, England captain John Terry’s mum Sue, and his mother-in-law Sue Poole have been accused of pilfering £800 worth of clothes and food from M&S and Tesco. However, the pair’s lawyer claim they were the victims of an “unfortunate misunderstanding.” Hmm. Isn’t that always the case? In other footie news, former Hollyoaks star Davinia Taylor has split from her husband of six years, Dave Gardner – the best mate of David Beckham, no less. A friend says, “Davinia is devastated but knows it is over. There is no one else involved and it is an amicable split.” Davinia is reported to have moved back in with her mum in Cheshire.
