Jordan banned from Jade's funeral:
Members of Jade Goody's family have today put their feet down and say they will not allow model Katie Price (aka Jordan) to attend the late BB star's funeral. Katie slammed Jade's decision to talk about her battle with cancer, saying at the time, "I can't believe she is paid for interviews on subjects that people are really traumatised by." Katie, who once talked openly about finding a cancerous growth on her finger, has since admitted her remarks were out of order, but that hasn't been enough to appease Jade's family. Jade herself forgave Katie before she died, but her friends and family are not so quick to forget. One pal said, "While Jade may have forgiven her, a lot of her family haven't. If she turns up she will not be allowed in." It was also revealed today that Jade's sons Bobby and Freddy, and their dad Jeff Brazier will also miss the funeral. Jade wanted the boys to remember her as she was, so Jeff is taking them on a holiday to Australia where they can grieve in private.

Madge: "Adoption is none of your business"
It would appear that the whole world is lining up to criticise Madonna's latest adoption plans, but what does she have to say? "It's none of your business!" The Queen of Pop made the bold statement to waiting press in Malawi, where she is currently staying in a bid to finalise details for the adoption of four-year-old Mercy James. Madonna, who is in the African city with her three other children, Lourdes, 12, Rocco, eight and Malawi-born David Banda, four, is expected to be on the verge of signing papers which will allow her to take Mercy back to the US. As was the case with David Banda, Madonna is seemingly exempt from the usual rules that apply when adopting a child, namely that you must live in the country for at least a year before being considered. Her apparent ease in proceeding has angered many people, with one charity campaigner saying glumly, "This is a sad development." Mercy James currently resides at an orphanage, where she has been since her young mum died and her father could not be traced. The tot's extended family, which includes two uncles and a grandmother, are also against the adoption plans. "We need more advice," says Mercy's uncle Peter Baneti. "My mother, brother John and I said no three times to the orphanage, which was pressing us on Madonna's behalf." No stranger to controversy, we don't expect Madge will take much notice of her critics. Her charity Raising Malawi continues to provide food and schooling for 4,000 children in the area.

Coleen "thrilled" over baby news
Footballer Wayne and WAG Coleen have made no secret of their wish for a family, and are said to be "absolutely thrilled" about the news that they’re expecting their first child. According to a friend of the couple, "Their families are the biggest thing in their lives and Wayne has always said he wants at least three or four children. Coleen has always maintained she wants a family when the time is right.They don’t know whether it’s a boy or girl yet… they don’t mind either way.” Let the bids for first baby pics start now...

Is Emma the new Fern?
Ever since Fern Britton quit This Morning, a host of names have been thrown into the hat for a replacement. But, according to sources, ITV have now approached childrens' TV star Emma Forbes. Phillip Schofield and Emma go back a long way – they worked together on hit Saturday morning kids’ TV show Going Live! – so it would be perhaps a cunning move for the pair to be reunited and their on-screen chemistry be allowed to reign once again. One insider revealed, "There are a lot of names being touted about, but Emma is the one, she fits the bill because she is a mother, she's pretty but not too chic, costs much less than Fern and won't be intent on being the main star of the show – which will suit Phil."
