Hammer woman breaks into Jade’s room:
A woman wielding a hammer broke into Jade Goody’s hospital room yesterday – and was discovered chanting and praying at the dying star’s bedside. The intruder broke into Jade’s room at the Royal Marsden Hospital at around 3pm, when Jack Tweed was at the toilet. Jade, however, was thought to have been heavily sedated at the time. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirms, “We arrested a woman who was in a patient’s room and whose behaviour was flagged up by the hospital security. After questioning her, she was found to be in possession of an offensive weapon and was taken into custody at a London police station for further questioning.”
 
Celebs make it up Kilimanjiro
The celebs finally made it to the top of Mount Kilimanjiro at the weekend, eight days after their trek began. Woo hoo. The nine mountaineering celebrities managed to raise over £1.5million for Comic Relief during the climb – after over a week of collapsing, nosebleeds and altitude sickness. Ben Shephard, Cheryl Cole, Fearne Cotton and Denise Van Outen were the first to reach the summit, with Ronan Keating and Gary Barlow following them. Chris Moyles, Kimberley Walsh and Alesha Dixon brought up the proverbial rear. Gary says, “The challenge was totally underestimated by every one of us. The climb was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.” Cheryl admits, “It has been, without question, the single most mentally and physically challenging experience of my life.” Well done!

Chris "will pay £7 million" if he touches Rihanna again
We continue to be baffled by celebrities on a daily basis, and lately Rihanna and Chris Brown have been right near the top of our WTF list. The latest reports coming from the States are claiming that Chris has promised to pay Rihanna more than £7million if he so much as "squeezes her arm the wrong way". Not only that, but it is also thought that the couple will now be lined up to appear together on big chat shows in the US, where they will openly discuss Chris' anger counselling. A source close to Chris said his "people" are doing their best to "turn a bad situation into something good". All this comes in addition to rumours that the attack only took place after Rihanna hit the rapper with her high-heeled shoe, causing him to lash out. Despite the fact Rihanna and Chris have made up, he could still face up to four years in jail if found guilty of the assault.

Amy banned from festival over assault charges
Other areas of her life may finally be starting to look brighter, but unfortunately for Amy Winehouse, events in her past continue to come back and bite her in the bum. The singer found out yesterday that she will not be allowed to perform at the Coachella festival in California next month, due to the fact she's been charged with assaulting a fan. US officials have refused the troubled star a work visa, and she is said to be "shattered" by the news. A source revealed, "Amy is absolutely gutted. This was going to be one of the biggest shows of her life. It's a real setback for her." Amy is accused of punching 30-year-old Sherene Flash at a London party back in September last year, after the fan asked if her friend could have a photo. She is due in court next Tuesday.
