Jack’s poem for Jade:
As the date of Jade's funeral draws nearer, the late star's husband Jack Tweed is preparing a poem to read at the service. Entitled If Only, the poem is thought to have been made up from a selection of funeral poetry and some of Jack's own words. Verses such as the poignant "God broke our hearts to prove he only takes the best" are said to be a comfort to Jade's close family. Jack, who's never been much of a talker (we barely heard him speak when he was in the Celebrity Big Brother house), will read the poem to the packed church, while thousands of well-wishers listen from outside. One pal said, "It will be a complete tear-jerker. There won't be a dry eye in the church." It was originally thought that Jade's mum Jackiey would also be saying a few words on the day, but she has since denied this saying that she would "break down" if she even tried. Floral tributes continue to arrive for the star, including one in the shape of the Big Brother eye.

Madonna’s son David doesn’t recognise his real dad
As well as doing her best to arrange the adoption of four-year-old orphan Mercy James while in Malawi, Madonna also took the opportunity to take her first adopted son David Banda to visit his real father Yohane Banda – but the little boy failed to even recognise his dad. David, who hasn't been back to Malawi for over three years, had to speak to his father using an interpreter, and his first question was, "Who are you?" Yohane said afterwards, "He asked me in English who I was and what I do. When I told him, 'I am your daddy' he looked surprised." Despite the early confusion, David Banda then spent three hours playing with his father and telling him about life with Madonna. Yohane explained, "David is quite chatty and intelligent. He asked me why I am poor. He also told me that he and his brother Rocco rode horses and fell. He said his mum spanked him because they are not supposed to ride on their own." We can just imagine naughty little Rocco and David getting up to mischief... How cute?! Yohane also says that David was very fond of Guy Ritchie, and said he thought it was a shame Madonna and he hadn't managed to sort out their problems. Reflecting on the adoption, Yohane later said, "I sometimes shudder to think what would have happened to David if Madonna had not rescued him. I am really grateful to her."

Brangelina plan to adopt child number seven
While Madonna's busy trying her best to secure the adoption of another child from Malawi, it seems another showbiz pair are gearing up to adopt their seventh child. Yep, despite having two adopted sons Maddox and Pax, an adopted daughter Zahara and three biological children, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne already, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly planning to adopt another child – this time from India. The couple spent some time with orphaned children a few years ago, when Ange was staying in the country filming A Mighty Heart, and ever since then they are said to have been keen to go ahead with an adoption. Tellingly, Ange herself actually admitted to the two young stars of Slumdog Millionaire that she was indeed going to adopt a child from India. Backstage at the Oscars, Ange was asked by young Azharuddin and Rubina Ali (the very young Jamal and Latika from the movie) if she was planning to bring up an Indian orphan, and she replied in a whisper, "Well, I'll let you into a little secret, we will soon." The chief of an adoption centre in Pune, India, who met the couple when they visted the country in 2006, said, "Brad and Angelina were lovely and adore kids. We were floored with their genuine affection." If Brad and Ange do go ahead with their plan then they will be mum and dad to seven. We feel exhausted just thinking about it...

Piers: “I don’t want Becks on my show”
While most TV chat-show hosts would jump through hoops for the chance to have David Beckham’s buttocks perched on their sofa, Piers Morgan says, “He can beg, plead, borrow and steal, but I am not having him on my show.” Oo-er! It transpires that Piers is related to Rebecca Loos by marriage (they’re second cousins), which accounts for his apparent lack of interest in old Goldenballs. “I’ve never met David," he says, "But I’m not in a trance about him like everybody else.” And if he did ever meet him? “My first question would be, ‘What did you do with my cousin?’ I know more about it than he might like.” Ooh, tell us more Piers, you tease!
