The 9 O'Clock News – Fri 13 Mar

It's the news!

Jade reunited with her boys:
Jade Goody cried tears of joy yesterday as she was finally reunited with her sons Bobby and Freddy after her stay in hospital. The terminally ill star was “overjoyed” as her two little boys ran up and hugged her at her bedside at her home in Upshire, Essex. A friend said, “Jade has been very tired and sleepy all day. She has no energy at all and she knows her life is coming to an end. As soon as she saw her boys she started crying, but only because she was so happy to see them. They were happy too. They missed their mum and don’t really understand everything that’s happening.” Jade also enjoyed a second night with new husband Jack Tweed, as officials lifted his curfew once again to allow him to be by her side. He’ll be allowed to remain with her for up to three nights. “He just wants to comfort Jade in her final days,” said a friend.

Jennifer dumped by John
The on-off couple Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are officially “off” again, according to reports from LA. Jen was apparently dumped by her musician boyfriend after she returned home from visiting the UK on promotional duties for film Marley & Me. Nice, John, nice. This comes after Jennifer recently said in an interview: “Whoever said every relationship has to last forever?” Although the pair have split up and got back together before, we kinda hoped that John might have been “the one” for Jen. But then again we still kinda hope that she’ll get back with Brad… oh dear.

Take the Winehouse tour
Want to follow in the footsteps of Amy Winehouse? Well, now you can. Almost. For the grand sum of £149, fans can enjoy a guided tour of Amy’s Camden neighbourhood – taking in Amy’s former house (well, past the front door), her favourite shops, pubs and markets. Tour participants can also sample Amy’s favourite drinks at notorious Camden haunt, The Hawley Arms. But is it just us, or does almost £150 for a trek round north London seem a bit steep? Probably best to invest in a map and a bus ticket instead.

Coleen vows to battle on

Coleen Nolan has vowed to skate on this Sunday’s Dancing On Ice – despite describing the pain of a recent injury as “worse than childbirth”. Coleen suffered a fall on the ice on Monday, spraining her rib and lower back, just a week after breaking a bone in her hand. But brave Coleen doesn’t want to let her fans down. She says, “I will be somehow staggering onto the ice this Sunday. But seriously, although it’s been a hellish week, I’ve been overwhelmed to have got this far in the competition. Event though I’m battered and bruised, I’m still dreaming of the Bolero.” Good luck, Coleen!
