Jade's cancer diaries hit the shelves
Yesterday saw the release of Jade Goody's final autobiography, entitled Jade: Forever In My Heart. The book tells the story of the BB star's battle with cancer, and the final six days of her life are told by mum Jackiey Budden, who refers to her daughter as "courageous". All the royalties from the book will go straight into trust for her two sons Bobby and Freddy, but the publisher HarperCollins will be making a £25,000 donation to Marie Curie Cancer Care. At the end of the book, Jade has included a wish list for her sons where she says she's like both of them to visit a developing country in order to understand how privileged they are. She would also like their first cars to be Porsches, and hopes they will have "good jobs that pay a lot of money".

Susan Boyle "won’t be getting a makeover"
Unless you’ve been in hibernation/concealed under Simon Cowell’s high waistband for the past week, you will be more than familiar with Britain’s Got Talent’s new super-duper star Susan Boyle. As is the norm with most talent shows (teeth-whitening en masse on The X Factor, anyone?), makeovers of the contestants are just part and parcel of the fame "package". But not for Susan, if judge Amanda Holden has anything to do with it. “I won’t let Simon Cowell take her to his dentist and I certainly won’t let her near his hairdresser,” she says. “She needs to stay exactly as she is because that’s the reason we love her. She just looks like anybody who could live on your street. The minute we turn her into a glamour puss is when it’s spoilt. For now we’ll keep her exactly as she is because that’s why we’ve all fallen for her."

Girls Aloud get foxy on tour
With only a week to go until the start of Girls Aloud’s tour, the anticipation is actually killing us about what on earth the feisty fivesome have in store for us. Well, ponder no longer – heatworld has all the goss about what Chezza and co will be getting up to. They’ll be pole dancing (oo-er!), cavorting with semi-naked men (crikey!) and flying on wires a la their performance of Untouchable on Dancing On Ice last month (hurrah!). A source says, “Each of them has their own podium-mounted pole to show off their skills and costumes. It’s jaw-dropping stuff.” They’re also rumoured to be doing a cover of Britney’s Womanizer at the gigs – wonder if it’ll be better than the original? We can’t WAIT.

Jay Kay car vandal sent to jail
A chef who caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to one of Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay's sports cars during a jealous rage has been jailed. The 21-year-old, who at the time of the incident was working as a chef in a hotel Jay Kay was staying at, threw stones at the £1million Ferrari, smashing both the windscreen and the side window, after he saw the famous singer walking down the beach with a girl he had "an emotional attachment to". He was also said to have been "rude and arrogant" to the star during his stay at the hotel. The defendant also claimed that Jay Kay mocked his stammer, and that this was what caused him to vandalise the car. He will now serve 10 weeks in jail for criminal damage. Jay Kay himself has not commented.
