BGT's Susan Boyle has some very famous fans
We all know Britain's Got Talent is a huge hit over here – 10.3 million viewers on Saturday, no less – but we didn't realise Hollywood stars were tuning in from over the pond. Yep, thanks to the awesome brilliance of Twitter, we now know that Demi Moore and her hot husband Ashton Kutcher are also huge fans of the show – especially the performance by Susan Boyle. Ashton was the first to post the link, writing next to it, "This just made my night." Demi quickly responded with, "You saw it made me teary." Thanks to her famous fans, Susan's performance of I Dreamed A Dream has now been viewed over 4 million times on YouTube. Amazing! A show source said last night, "Susan is now a genuine global megastar." She has also been named by bookies as the favourite to win the talent show already, with odds of 5/2.
Jordan: "I thought Pete was cheating"
Jordan has admitted that she thought husband Peter Andre was cheating on her – but she now blames her rage on PMT. Speaking about an episode of her new show, Katie & Peter: The Next Chapter Stateside, in which she accuses Pete of cheating on her, Katie says, "The sex was different, he was deleting all his text messages and wouldn't leave his phone on the side. He was on the computer all the time, too. I definitely thought something was up." However, Katie says she's over it now. "I don't think he's cheating anymore," she reveals in the new interview. "We've cleared all that up. I had bad PMT that day." The couple even say that they'll be trying for another baby as soon as they've run the London Marathon they've been training for recently, but that they definitely won't be adopting a baby from abroad like some stars. "I don't understand why everyone is going overseas when there are so many kids in this country who need homes," says Pete.
Jack Tweed's sentence "ridiculous" claims victim
The cab driver assaulted by Jack Tweed last night spoke out about his fury at the 21-year-old's 12-week sentence, calling it "ridiculous". Stephen Wilkins, 54, says he believes Jack has used public sympathy to his advantage, and that he should have been sent down for at least two years for his part in the assault. "He near killed me," said Mr Wilkins, "But because of who he is and who he married he got off lightly. I still have nightmares about that night, but he'll be out in six weeks. What is all that about?!" Mr Wilkins is furious that Jack has never attempted to apologise for the incident, claiming he was "too drunk" to remember anything that happened. However, Jacks family and solicitor claim that his celebrity status actually led to him being treated more harshly than necessary, and they plan to appeal against the decision. It is thought that Jack will be released in six weeks time.
Corrie star attacked by thugs
Scary news – Corrie's resident bad boy Gary Windass AKA Mikey North was left covered in blood this weekend after a savage attack in his home town of Scarborough. The star, who is famous for his on-screen brawling, is believed to have been hit by two attackers as he walked home from a local nightclub on Saturday night as they goaded him about his role on the soap. Mikey's injuries, which include a broken jaw, are so bad that Corrie bosses have had to re-jig filming as he will be off set for a few weeks. Get well soon, Mikey.
