Jackiey: "Jade begged me to end her life"
Jackiey Budden spoke for the first time yesterday about the last few hours of her daughter's life, saying she believes Jade would have been very proud of her. She also told Phil and Fern on This Morning that Jade had begged her to end her life by smothering her with a pillow, such was her suffering. "I really didn't want to see her go that way," explained an emotional Jackiey. "We just wanted her to go there and then." In yet another tragic twist, little Bobby and Freddie's great granddad on their dad's side of family has also been found dead. Mr Smith, whom Jeff Brazier and the two young boys were all very close to, was found in a tent in his garden, after apparently taking his own life. He, too was suffering from cancer, and left a note telling his family he could no longer "take these tumours". Our hearts go out to both families at this sad time.

Su-Bo "good enough for the West End"
No matter what happens in Britain’s Got Talent, cult singer Susan Boyle could land herself a plum role in the West End, according to Dancing On Ice judge Ruthie Hensall. Ruthie, a former leading lady on Chicago and Oliver!, says as long as the 48-year-old West Lothian can act, then Theatreland is her oyster, adding, “I absolutely think Susan has a West End stand voice. Any producer would jump at the chance to have her. They’d make so much money out of her as her profile would guarantee bums on seats.” Lets hope one of those is the peachy bum of super-fan Mr Kutcher!

Madge’s still looking after Mercy
Despite a Malawian judge rejecting her adoption bid three weeks ago, Madonna is still caring for toddler Mercy James. According to a source, the three-year-old girl is staying at Kumbali Lodge in Malawi, where Madge stayed earlier this month – and is being looked after by some of the pop star's staff, adding, “During her farewell party, Madonna instructed a nurse and a nanny to remain behind to care for Mercy while the lawyers appeal.” Mercy's legal guardian, orphanage director Anne Chikhwaza, says she has given her consent for Mercy to be there and claims "there is nothing wrong" with Madonna's actions. The hearing will take place in Malawi on 4 May.

Lily feared being a "train wreck"
Pop star Lily Allen has revealed how she feared her career was over when she realised people saw her more as a boozy party girl than a singer. Speaking about her first album Alright, Still she said, “I took a beating from the press first time around. I became more famous for being a train wreck than a singer. I didn’t think I was capable of writing songs and making music.” She’s since blasted criticisms of being a “fall down drunk” arguing that when a girl drinks she's drunk, but if a bloke drinks the same "it's not portrayed in the same way". Very true.
